The story is very simple so my grandson could have enjoyed it from about 7 months. At two, he is learning the Spanish for animals and colours in a way that is still of interest.

As a bilingual family (Spanish Mum, Australian Dad), we really struggle to find high-quality books in Spanish for our 16 month old. Our daughter has loved this series (the drawings, the colours, the rhymes) - publishers, please publish more of these in Spanish!

I'm learning Spanish myself, and this simple, repetitive story is great to pass some of the knowledge on to my kids. There are lots of complementary exercises on the web to go with this book, too.
