Crystal QuestCQE-RC-04045 Shower Filter Cartridge

I bought a replacement cartridge for this cottage season. We have high iron content in our shallow well that turns everything orange. This cartridge was enough to clean up the water in our shower without leaving residue on the stall. We used it for 4 months on long weekends before replacing. I have bleached hair, so didn't use it on my hair, but everyone else did with no problem. We also liked the showerhead that came with it. This has been a great product for us, for our specific use. If using it in a home, it would need more frequent replacement. The instructions said you could turn it around, but ours was so loaded with iron, we didn't bother.

We live on a hundred year old farm. The well is probably just as old. We have a problem with hydrogen sulfide in the water supply. It is so strong it will make you feel sick. This is the only filter we have found that makes the smell tolerable so that we may bath. Definitely recommend if you are facing the same issue!

The Crystal Quest filter is an indispensable part of my water filtering (I filter drinking water with the ProPur King and Alexapure). Your skin drinks in whatever you put on it in about 28 seconds, so you MUST filter shower and bath water. The CQ does as good a job or better than others on the market, is easy to change. I highly recommend getting the whole kit first. I've been able to add a hand wand without losing water pressure sufficient for a good shower. I have heard the skin is the largest organ (laid out flat) to which you must compare the brain--but the brain does not get anything directly and has its own filter--although it is not sufficient to keep fluorides out of the brain.

Been using this filter for about 8 years now.They usually last about 1 year, also want to mention that the filter should be flipped at about 6 months. This will keep it working better.If you live in the city, and are on the fence about getting one... do it!You will notice your skin isn’t drying out so much, and will notice how the water doesn’t smell like a chemical factory, and how much better the water feels.A good investment

Would be nice if they let you know this is not compatible with Aqua Bliss . The quality of Aqua Bliss filters have been the same as of late and was looking for a replacement. I really don't want to spend what Crystal wants for a holder, it's outrageous...
