Such fun!
I love this series. It’s ridiculous in all the best ways and never fails to make me smile. Each chapter is its own short tale in the universe so I can pick it up or put it down quickly for a bit a levity in my day!

One of the best volumes so far
Rating system:1 star = did not like2 star = it was okay3 star = liked it4 star = really liked it5 star = it was amazing3.5/5I'm rating this about the same as what I've been rating the other volumes, but I think this is actually one of the better ones, so far. The events are more overall amusing, even if they might not be blatantly hilarious. This one and volume one are probably my favorites. The chapters with Miku are still some of the best. We finally get to see a peek of a snippet regarding how Tatsu and Miku met. I'd like to see the full story on that at some point.

Enjoy watching someone else do the chores
I am late to the party with this fun manga release. This ongoing series shows the adventures of a Japanese mafia member trying to go straight and be a stay at home husband. As a wife myself, it is hilarious watching someone’s husband try to do the job with which I am so familiar. It is so gratifying to see a tough guy (or a wise guy, really) have such a hard time with tasks some do every day, while being honest and comical. The list of adventures that he could get into are endless and really build up the balancing act that those that stay home and work must juggle. The artistry is beautiful and there is so much to see in each panel. With an adorable main character, all the mini stories I have encountered so far end happily. In addition the Japanese culture seems to transfer over with no problem, making me excited to learn more similarities. I will be reading the backlist on this manga, and looking forward to more in the future. I thank NetGalley for an ecopy of this release for an honest review.

Entertaining stuff
The Immortal Dragon (Katsu, the ex-yakuza, now househusband) faces his greatest challenge as he tries to become a made man. He wants to join the local woman's committee, which means he has to show his household skills to the max. He puts in maximal effort to become part of the inner circle. Other stories include a run in with another ex-yakuza as they are both walking their dogs and a tough night of trying to fall asleep (counting gangsters instead of sheep doesn't always work so good; nor does the soothing sounds of the sea when it reminds you of cement shoes!).The collection of stories is entertaining.Mildly recommended.

Amazing fun!
Another hilarious instalment that drags you in and has you hooked. The women’s association stood up to him and showed no fear it was amazing to see. I love that there are organisations that have a hidden strength that is often underestimated. A great balance between comedy and misunderstandings!
