I was very happy with this purchase. They are a good size and depth, sturdy and unobtrusive. Though the title description does say leather, the product description says faux leather, twice.As an aside, I highly recommend buying the velvet pads to go with them, for my purposes they're not nearly as helpful, but that was an easy fix. When assessing an item like this, I have to consider how long it would take, for me to make something like it, as well as the cost of the materials. I couldn't come close to reproducing 3 trays for this price.It's all about managing expectations - I paid $12.50 for these - I didn't expect a Tiffany quality product. Having read some of the other reviews, and looking closely at the pictures, I was prepared for the trays to be significantly more flimsy than they were. I'm not going to have them double as frisbees, they're not THAT sturdy, but I plan to buy more.

I've read the negative reviews here and have to wonder what happened to their trays... smh. Mine arrived in wonderful condition and I couldn't be more pleased. I don't use these for displaying anything... I use them to keep my jewelry projects separated and organized so I can choose what I work on on a certain day. They're also great for anyone who does the popular wrap bracelets! Will be ordering more!

These trays are exactly what I was looking for. (In fact, I immediately ordered more after I received my first shipment.) I also bought the velvet display pads and the inserts for rings and they all go together very well. They stack very nicely and are of reasonable quality for my private use. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to organize their collections!

I gave a 1 star only because I cannot give a ZERO. The is the worst quality product and customer service I have ever received from Amazon.Poor product quality.1) These trays are made of black cardboard box with edges held together by tapes that LOOK LIKE leather. How could this be possibly called "Leather Trays" if you only have "fake leather tapes" at the edges? The product's name itself is very misleading and it is NOT true.2) The tapes had already come off when I first opened the package, as you can see from the pictures. There are also uneven glues on the sides.3) The only reason in which other buyers may not care about the above 2 issues are that, they probably cover those terrible tape and glue with velvet pad. That will solve the problem, but then one would need to pay extra for the velvet pad.Bad customer services and return policies1) When I contacted the seller about the bad product quality, the seller took a very firm and strong standing, stating that "It's been used in the jewelry industry for over 30 years. We have sold thousands of these trays with absolutely no complaints." Well, first of all, I cannot imagine this poor quality box being used in a jewelry store. I personally won't buy any jewelry displayed in these boxes, which make them look so cheap. Secondly, it is very clear that the seller have absolutely no interests in solving an unsatisfied customer's issues or improving their product quality.2) The seller said they accept returns, but the buyer need to pay for the return shipping. Well, the return shipping fee is almost equivalent to the item's purchased price. Clearly, the merchant prevent anyone from returning. If you want to buy this product, just keep in mind that you basically DO NOT have the return option.Based on my experiences, I strongly suggest you not to consider buying this product.

I wanted something inexpensive to place on some shelving in my bathroom that smaller things were falling through. These completely fit the bill.There is, however, a reason why they're so inexpensive. They're very shoddily put together with glue bits and sloppy seams. This is most noticeable on the insides and the bottom. These shoddier parts are hidden by the products I stack in them, so I don't particularly mind. They're in the bathroom anyway.I definitely wouldn't use these for displaying jewelry or anything like that though.

First statement—worth what I paid. However note that they are covered cardboard and the wrap on the edges is very noticeable on the flat tray part. This is an easy fix. I will just go to the craft store and get some of the fuzzy cardboard and cut to size (or maybe felt). Still worth every penny!

Very disappointed. I ordered the same thing twice. The second time, the trays were NOT in leather but in PLASTIC! And one of them is broken! And they are not the same height as the leather ones. They look very cheap.
