Real support that adjusts to you as you shift around in your chair. I have a d racer chair with the lumbar support but I've always sought out something with a little more overall support for my back as a whole given that I game a lot. Cups your lower/mid back to shoulder blades in way that keeps your shoulder blades specifically supported where a basic lumbar support wont.For clarification on mechanics, the instructions wont tell you exactly how high or low to put on your chair, but the graphic doesnt give you a good indication of where it should sit on your back, and you'll feel it too. Each pad flexes on it's own because of the springs, so normal body turns and adjustments still give you support. The material that straps it to your chair is a flexible bungie material with rubber seamed into the strap so it doesnt move unless you take the time to loosen it. Reminded me a lot of a durable sensi-wrap.All in all awesome

I love this product. I drive all day, I was suffering with bad back support in my company car. I was afraid I could not do my job from the pain from driving. I bought this product and all the pain is gone, it supports my back and keeps my posture where I don't suffer anymore from back pain. I highly recommedn this product for anyone who has severe lower or mid back pain.

When it's in the proper position, it works great. Problem is, the elastic bands that hold it in place stretch and slip out of their slots over time, at least on my particular office chair, and the whole back rest unit slides down and out of position. Not a major problem, just a minor annoyance from time to time to have to readjust the bands.

I like the product. The strap that goes around the seat is worthless.My carts ripped it off buy computer chair almost as soon as I put it on. joe

Nice item except that you have re-adjust the straps about once a week. The rest Is very helpful as long as it is in the correct position.

So comfortable and supportive

Seemed to be good quality; but just didn't fit my wives or my back.

Someone once told me that this is the best back rest but I didn't believe then. Then I had to work from home so invested in this scary looking back rest and I'm more comfortable than being in the office!Putting aside the fact that they look like lungs, this back rest is really tall, and depending on how you put the strap around your chair, you can have it as high as you like, meaning you can use it with a seat cushion also.The strap has a rubber like texture that keeps it from slipping, I have mine in the shape of a pretzel which works really well, I've never had to readjust it.The two sides of the back rest move independently and you can adjust the whole thing depending on your height.My colleagues are always complaining about how their backs hurt and, honestly, I feel smug.

After reading some of the other reviews I was a bit sceptical in buying this back support. I still decided to give it a try and I have to say it works for me, really happy with it. Just bear in mind that is not suitable for small office chairs, it will take about 15cm from the seat leg length. Quality is good, but for this price and being from Kensington, I would have expected a little bit more of softness. But this is just me being picky.

The back rest is adjustable in height & is very comfortable to support My lower back up to My shoulder blades. Feel extremely well supported & very comfortable now on settee, dining chair, plus wheelchair to just sit in , moving around indoors. Also in Car it has helped my spine on the 2 journeys that I have had to take since receiving it from Amazon. Goes very well with the Kensington Foot rest for complete comfort for Me ! 10 out of 10 !!!
