Great Investment for peace of mind
I purchased this to keep track of my father's vehicle when he's driving. He has early stages of dementia and has, a couple of times, just driven off without saying anything. Last time he was gone for a day and a half. Law enforcement was involved as well as a "Silver Alert" issued. He is 82 years old. I needed something reliable and accurate to track his vehicle.Installation is as simple as plugging in to the car's computer port under the dash. It took seconds. It took a bit for the device to pick up the cellular and GPS signal. Once I registered on the website and signed up for monthly service this was up and running. Monthly service is a month to month plan and I can cancel anytime if I want. It is VERY accurate pinpointing where the vehicle is EXACTLY. I am able to personalize the Geofence and keep track of his driving habits. Best thing is my blood pressure is back to normal because I now know where my father is when he's out and about.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

Best Parent Tool
The aware tracking devices are a must for every parent. They help ensure young drivers are developing the right driving habits. The devices are accurate and have easily paid for themselves by reducing the possibility of an accident and saving a life.The app is user friendly and connects quickly to device when pinged. Both OBD Port and hardwired devices have yielded good results. The key is to install device in a location to ensure good communication with cell towers. The hardwired models allows this with included wires but for the OBD version you must buy a flat wire cable extender. I relocated ours under the dash board close to the front windshield. The stock location of all OBD ports are too obstructed and cause problems in communication.

A Winner OBD Tracker!
I was hesitant to order an OBD tracking device after reading some negative comments on a few websites. However, an OBD unit was the best option for me to consider, so I ordered this the Aware GPS unit. I am extremely pleased with the unit. It was easy and quick to install and set up. I works very well, and I've had no problems with it. I ended up installing it with a 3rd party extension cable I ordered from Amazon, and it works just as well with it. I installed it first on one vehicle, on a trial basis, then on my other vehicle, where it will remain. One feature I really like is the ability to zoom in and out on the location map on my smart phone. The ability to pull up the route the vehicle drove is handy, too. I don't know how well other tracking units perform, but I know this one is working as described, flawlessly.

This service is awesome! I can track my children for $20 for month. Originally I was paying 40 a month with Land Air sea. Not to mention the battery was dying every few days now I never have to worry about that with this system.Thanks
