get rubber wheels
This is a great product and i did A LOT of research before buying this. You won't be able to use it all day at first. Not a chance. Barely a half hour but it will start to help. The casters are a hard NOPE. Buy ruber/inline wheels when you order. Easy to assemble but covered in grease so it's messy at first.

Ergonomics, comfort, dentistry
I am a dental hygienist and ergonomics is so important for the longevity of my career. This chair is awesome for the money. One of the offices I work at had a broken chair that was making life very uncomfortable so I made the purchase. I’ve used it for about a week now. I’ve had another one that I purchased and this one is way more cushioned.

Very easy to put together, but too uncomfortable
I'm desperate for a chair that'll accommodate my back after a years-long injury. I've tried the kneeling chairs, but they're too hard on my knees. This chair style gets rave reviews, but again, it doesn't work for me, either. First, the seat is too wide. Maybe this seat width is typical of saddles, but it very badly chafes the inside and underside of my legs so that I'm constantly squirming on the chair to get relief. After sitting on it for about a half hour, my inner/under thighs are bruised, lasting well over a day. I've changed out the casters for premium casters in case this might make the chair more comfortable. It rolls much better, but is no more comfortable. I've added a cushioned ergonomic seat pad to the top, thinking the extra padding would work. It surprisingly made things worse.Another issue. The advertisement suggests that because legs are out to the side and down, there's relief on the back and hips. But even at the chair's highest, my legs have to be up so my thighs are parallel to the floor. This results in too small an angle between my torso and my thighs to "open up" the hip flexors for relief the way you get with a kneeling chair. One more issue. You have to be careful getting into and out of this chair since you have to balance on it before putting your full weight on it--all while stabilizing the wheels so the chair doesn't roll away from you. We have marble and hardwood floors throughout our home, so a fall could be very bad. You might look for upgraded wheels that offer a locking mechanism. An aside--I put the chair together in under 2-minutes, but as I'm preparing to return it, I've discovered it won't come apart. This is something other reviewers mention. The inner vertical post won't come out from the seat. And the metal feet-ring the coasters go into won't detach from the vertical post either. So I don't even know how this chair will get returned. I don't want to use a hammer to remove the pieces for fear of damaging the chair. So, keep in mind that if you try this and it doesn't provide the advertised relief, it may be difficult to return it.This chair offered me no relief to my back or hip pain. Worse, it's very uncomfortable. Adding insult to injury, it's proving nearly impossible to take apart to return. Really was hoping this would be THE CHAIR. Next stop, a treadmill desk set-up.

Get what ya pay for I guess..
So I'm a bit torn on this one. On one hand, it is comfortable and it all seems to work well enough but the quality control could use some work 😐 the seat itself has bounced around in the box clear from China to 5 warehouses 4 shipping crates 3 more warehouses and the US portal services and all the abuses that entails...and it looks it! There's actually what appears to be rust on the adjustment handle and the underside was scratched to hell like it was borrowed, used industrially and plopped back into the box. Most of that is cosmetic though admittedly and I was able to clean and buff it into shape. All that said if you don't mind all that to save 25 bucks then go for it. If you want something professional and polished, might want to dish out a few more bucks.

FINALLY! A good saddle stool!
I have a lot of back/hip problems with a lot of pain. I searched for and tried several similar stools. They were all uncomfortable and pitched me forward or back, or were too narrow, making the pain worse, not better. THIS stool I am totally happy with. The saddle (seat) is super comfortable. Rolls easily. Easy to adjust higher or lower. Don't waste time with other stools. This is the best.
