The built quality of this thing is insanely good, for the price tag.
Okay. I use BT One headphones (Same STATUS company) over a year now (old, cheaper and smaller version of this one), and I was really happy with it, even this day it works perfectly, but this one just blew my mind completely!First of all the built quality and heaviness/premiumness of this thing is something that I would never thought to be important, but once you hold it in your hands, you'll definitely know what I'm talking about. It has a premium look and feeling, have an amazing soft rubber touch to it and overall packaging and little details just amazingly complement the overall impression. It sits perfectly, no rubbing or hurting ears, light and soft like an air.Sound quality of this thing is even more impressive. I'm not an expert, but the sound is so good that once I've heard it now I know that I didn't have a great pair of headphones in my life, apparently. It's crisp, detailed (sound) and the level of high and low is perfectly balanced, it's like sitting in a great concert hall. The touch controls are on point, protective case is solid and firm I didn't think that I would like them this much.Even James Bertuzzi himself (CEO of STATUS) contacted me and asked how is my experience with this headphones, I was super impressed to say the least. And a great bonus, right from the box this beast were charged 40% of battery life.Thank you for my joy and satisfaction right now, I am a one happy customer ^^

Not too bad
I personally bought this when they were 45% off and for that price they are very worth it. I am comparing these to my senheiser HD60XX since this company claims to be able to offer such high quality sound at a lower price than the competition. Now the senheiser are obviously open back so I cannot directly compare these status headphones to them. The sounds is similar in terms of the high end and the low end notes, very nice sound stage on both of these headphones enough that they are hard to tell apart. The one defining factor is that at very high or very low volumes the audio just goes to crap on the status headphones. It's hard to explain on text but the songs just don't sound right at very low and high volumes. They are quality headphones for sure, and the noise cancelation isn't too bad but it's definitely not perfect. With that being said I don't have any other noise canceling headphones to compare them to so take that with a grain of salt. Battery life is decent, nothing special but it's certainly not bad. I wish there was a little more foam on the top headband but the ear cups are a little shallow for me personally.

Great headphones but starting to die.
They were great while they lasted, but the left side recently started shorting out and crackling in my ear. Was hoping it would just go away but I think they’re done for. Them before that, the sound quality was great and the life of the charge was wonderful. I’ve had them just over two years.

Top of the line noise cancelling headphones for an excellent price!
I did an exhaustive search for wireless noise-cancelling headphones (used primarily for music and TV) before deciding on the Status Flagship ANC. Interestingly, I did not see these in the "top ten best" listings on any site. I in fact wasn't aware of the existence of this company until an ad appeared while I was watching an unrelated video. I was immediately impressed with the technical specs and the claimed sound quality and comfort. A video reviewing the headphones followed and I was sold. The sound quality is indeed impressive and the active noise-cancelling feature works flawlessly. I can still hear when someone calls to me, which I consider a plus, but the ambient noise is blocked. They are indeed as comfortable as claimed, with soft, uniquely-contoured ear cups and a well-padded head rest. As far as cost is concerned, I paid $179 on Amazon, approximately half the price of the top-rated Sony WH-1000XM4. I highly recommend these.

I wanted to love you, but it was not to be. ( Returned )
I can't deny it. I loved their advertising campaign. That wildly conceited hipster, dropping classic one liners for a solid 5 minutes. I watched the whole ad as I searched around for specs and reviews. The Status Flagship ANC seemed to be the real deal. The fight club thing at then end slew me, pontificating the futility of advertising in the modern world - IN THEIR AD. A snake of meta analysis eating it's own tale. What's not to love. They must have their stuff together....I clicked buy and waited for my high expectations of audio quality and noise cancelling to be met by an upstart punching above their weight class. I mean, -40dB!! Earplugs are around -30dB normally.Drivers and audio quality is solid. There was no noticeable change in sound quality between ANC on and off. They sound really good driven passively. They've done their homework and the drivers are great. They are a viable replacement for studio monitors or other use cases that require high fidelity, a flat response curve and good tonal separation.Noise Cancelation really falls short in my book.I will never forget the first time I plugged in my Bose A20's, adjusted the headset, pushed the ANC button and then frantically checked all the planes gauges for 10 seconds because I thought the engine just quit.I fully expected the Flagship ANC to meet or break that bar, but no. They are doing roadwork out front now, and the ANC blocks some of the low end noise up to about 30Hz, but above there they don't block much. I could hear every cut saw running, hammer hitting and horn honking about the same as if the headphones were off. I figured my Bose QC20's would be better when I'm trying to fall asleep in the back of an airplane. But hey, These are wireless! I may have come for the ANC but maybe I'll stay for the wireless. I paired them to my phone and they were decent. Audio has some noticeable lag but I wanted to pair them to my W10 machine with aptX anyway. Eventually I pushed enough buttons to get them paired, and they connected with AptX LL. Perfect - just what I wanted - but no sound. Check all the settings on the computer - yeah should work. Nope - no sound. Switch to SBC - sure - works. Back to aptX LL - nothing.Okay - someone has run into this - check the questions on the Amazon listing. Nope. That and almost no questions answered at all actually. I post the question and stop and answer some. Next step - product support website. I've got 3 tabs - SHOP, ABOUT, CONTACT. dig through them all - nope, no support. Google some looking for a firmware upgrade - nope. check the play store looking for an app - nope. Find a contact email and send them a question and wait. The next afternoon I find myself staring at them. I want to love you, just give me a reason. They fold up and they're small? Nope - the travel case has them as a pancake even thought they will fold. Sound quality? Nope - I wouldn't trade them for my V-Modas. ANC? I already have better options for travel and they won't cut out a jackhammer like an earplug. AptX? Tried 3 other windows machines - no audio coming through when aptX is connected. Say's aptX on their ads... Maybe they will fix it with a later firmware upgrade - but there is no support page of any talk of upgrading the firmware. Maybe support will help me - but it's been a day and I haven't even seen confirmation they've got my email yet. With sadness. I packed them back into the amazon box and walked them to UPS. It's a valiant effort. I applaud you punching above your weight class. Your marketing is legitimately brilliant and sets high expectations, then you fall short by inches in pretty much every category. But hey, if your product was perfect when you released it you've waited too long.I did hear back from support later that day. They asked for my order number even though I was asking about Codec compatibility. I explained they were in the mail back to them.

Complete Silence on Board!
Great set of earphones at a price much lower than the mainstream brands. Complete silence when I wore them on a recent flight.

Brillant choice!
I couldn't expect more! Starting from the design - the headphone looks, CLASS! It comes with the case so it's easy and safe to take them with me everywhere! The sound... Crystal clear! Sound cancellation - is just amazing! Still impressed that is actually possible to feel like in some kind of "sound bubble" and if necessary, just by one touch, go back to the "real world". And one more thing - battery... I'm using the headphones for over a week now, a few hours a day, didn't need to be charged yet since were fully charged before the first use. Truly impressed!

Avoid if you’re a bass lover
For anyone that isn’t super picky about sound quality or the overall feel of the bass in songs, this will be a great pair of headphones for you - you will not be disappointed. They’re great at noise cancelling - they block out almost everything - and overall they’re a pretty solid pair of headphones. However, I personally found that the bass was a little too weak for me and that they could definitely be more powerful for the price they’re being sold for.

Pretty much perfect combination of price and performance
My most expensive pair of headphones - and worth every penny. Have other products from them too - one was good, one was spectacular. This latest model for me even beats my prior Status favourite, which was my favourite set of headphones ever.Great rich sound with AptX HD, natural but expansive soundstage - basically your sound will only suffer if the source material is poor. Noise cancellation a joy - don't Quite know how to explain it properly - it Cancels the sound, without making the set aurally "claustrophobic" - does that make sense to you lol? OK, so I tried and sent back some other noise cancelling cans from other brands in the recent past - they were c£100 - £130, I just didn't rate them compared to my old Status One set. So maybe its not a surprise its taken a Status set to beat a Status set lol.

Surprisingly good
Surprisingly good headphones (particularly if you got them for £99) sound is excellent and I have also been impressed by the Bluetooth connectivity, which allow multiple connections at once so while working from home I can connect to phone and laptop without disturbing others in the house. They are also very comfortable on the ear and I have worn for hours without discomfort even with my glasses on. I highly recommend
