Ein sehr schönes GO-Set mit großen, schweren Glassteinen die in formschönen Schalen aufbewahrt werden. Für die Schalen gibt's auch noch eine passende Tragetasche. Sehr praktisch.Das Große Spielbrett aus Bambus ist ebenfalls sehr gut verarbeitet und kann beidseits bespielt werden (13x13 und 19x19). Es wurde sogar darauf geachtet, dass traditionelle Go-Bretter nicht exakt quadratisch sind (es geht hier wohl um die Perspektive: wenn die Spieler am Tisch sitzen gleicht das Brett so die Verzerrung aus, die durch die schräge Draufsicht entsteht. Die spinnen, die Go-Spieler ;-P )Auch für das Brett ist für Transport oder Lagerung eine Hülle aus einem Filzartigem Material mit Klettverschluss dabei.Schade, dass das Go-Spiel in unseren Breitengraden nicht sehr verbreitet ist. Es ist ein großartiges Spiel und mit so einem wertigen Material auch noch unglaublich schön anzuschauen.Ich möchte hier außerdem noch den hervorragenden Kundenservice von "Yellow Mountain Import" erwähnen:Das Bambusbrett meiner Bestellung hatte leichte Mängel. Es waren einige Risse auf der Oberfläche der Spielfläche entstanden (ich schätze unverschuldet durch falsche Luftfeuchtigkeit und/oder Temperaturschwankungen im Amazon-Lager). Nach kurzem, sehr freundlichen Kontakt zum Kundenservice der Firma hat man mir ohne Umschweife ein komplett neues Set geschickt und das Alte noch nicht einmal zurück verlangt. SEHR zuvorkommend und heutzutage leider überhaupt nicht mehr selbstverständlich.Deshalb hier eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung von mir! TOP!

Got this since other sellers can't seem to get it together AT ALL. Pleasantly surprised by the quality, though I do wish they had Yunzi stones available instead of glass.

I used to play Go online relentlessly as a teenager, and only had a cheap folding set with plastic stones that I rarely used. I really wanted to get back into the game. I didn’t realize how much smaller that folding board and plastic stones in that cheap set were compared to a standard one like this one from YMI.I am very impressed for what I got for this price point. The felt sleeve for the board fits very well and snug on the board, not loose at all, and the bowl straps and bag for the stone bowls feels like very nice material.The bowls have a very nice finish, and have a a red-brick brownish red colour.Stone quality feels great, and the glass makes a satisfying click on the bamboo board.Not sure if my stone count is an anomaly or not, but I received 7 extra white stones, and 9 extra black ones. Very appreciated.Overall, I’m very impressed! Having a decent set now makes it very motivating to play more!
