Could these be used in junk journals as a paint flicker ? Would this paint show up on paper if i flick the paint onto the paper and try and make rain

It might work. I found them to be paler in color than some other metallics. Try it on some scrap paper first would be my suggestion.

Is the paint color permanent or will it fade? I want to use this to paint my house keys. Will the paint stay on my keys permanently or will it fade?

You would not use watercolor for painting your keys. You could try an acrylic maybe or an oil paint but water color is just going to come right off. A good more permanent solution would be the Testors hobby enamel paint and that would last a long time. Or just get an inexpensive can of spray paint that’s colorful and that you could use for other things too. Oh and nail polish would work too. Good luck.

I would suggest you put a Ground on the object before using watercolor! I use Daniel Smith Transparent Watercolor Ground. I looked it up on YouTube and that person used it on Plastic, wood, glass and rocks!
