I would have given it 4 stars, but I just looked on my Amazon buys and saw when I purchased it (2023) and how much I paid for it, £10. I'm still using it on my PC, and it's all I want from a microphone. It's plug & play, and its clarity is fine.

This is a Simple Microphone. Take it Out of the Packaging and Plug it in. You may have to make minor adjustments to your PCs Settings, but no Problems so far! There is One button, On the base, so that You Can See that tere unit is On or in Standby -Simple.

I tried two more expensive microphones and at best they worked very intermittently and were a nightmare to set up. I then sent for this one at a fraction of the price plugged in to the USB socket allowed its use in the various apps and it just worked. Its very neat, almost unnoticeable on my desk, the length of lead is very adequate. As far as its longevity that remains to be seen but I am quite optimistic. Delivery was excellent, ordered late evening and delivered mid morning next day. I only need it for You tube, google etc so how it would stand up to more serious use I can not tell but for my use it is excellent and for the price of a couple of cups of coffee.

This was bought as an emergency replacement whilst waiting for more expensive mic to arrive. The sound quality is adequate for the price. There is a noticeable amount of noise and the dynamic range is a little limited, but it is okay for mostly speech. There is an annoying little bug on the one I have. I can press the mute button on the mic to mute it, but I can't unmute it again, without having to unplug the whole mic and replug it into the computer again. This bug pretty much renders it almost unusable for me. So it is now stored at the back of the drawer.

I bought this microphone for speech to text use on Windows 11. I am delighted to say that it works extremely well. All this at a very reasonable price too.

Works really well once it's working. I have a 2017 macbook air and it didn't immediately recognise the mic in settings. I learned I had to have the mic switched on (the red light button depressed) before i plugged in the usb and then it would show up. If you plug it in and only then turn the red light on the Mac just won't recognise it. Great sound so far from testing on Zoom, excited to use for my classes :)

I use this mic mainly for calls with my friends, so nothing professional. The sound quality is... surprisingly good. It's better than other, more expensive microphones I've had in the past. However, there's no actual volume control - you have to set that manually in Windows. Looks-wise, it's nothing special - just a cheap microphone. Cable length is standard, about the same length as you'd normally see on a USB Keyboard. The button on the microphone is annoying though - it completely turns off the mic. Like, windows WILL NOT see it. It would be much more useful as a mute button, and if you're expecting a mute button, it'll take a little to get used to the fact that it's NOT a mute button. I've had some issues with it randomly making me sound quieter or robotic, but I usually fix them by either unplugging and replugging, or simply slamming the base of the mic onto my desk pretty hard. No, that's not a joke, either - it works. Overall, great mic for a low price.

Lo recomiendo pues me funciona muy bien desde hace tiempo y buena calidad precio. Recomendable.

Ein sehr gutes Produkt. Jedoch muss ich immer wieder feststellen das es unter WIN 11 und Office 2019 nicht immer so recht will. Die diktierten Texte kommen teilweise sehr seltsam - keine logischen Worte rüber und wenn im Hintergrund ein anderes Geräusch ist, wird dieses auch eher wahrgenommen. Momentan kann ich nicht sagen ob es am Microfon oder am PC liegt. Beim Handy und Tablet und Android funktioniert das diktieren von Mails und Briefen ohne Probleme
