Wow, I really like this kitchen mat! It is comfortable to stand on, it lies flat, it is a good price, it is easy to clean up spills, it is a nice bright red and (so far) it seems to be cat-proof.I used to have a foam kitchen mat that was more like a foam yoga mat, but whenever you spilled anything on it, it would suck up the moisture and you would have to dab it with towel. It also fell mercy to one of my cats who would systematically shred it.This mat is not as squooshy comfortable as that one.It is firmer and has a slight pebbled design which makes it non-slip. It lies a little flatter than other mats, which means I don't trip on it. I have it in front of the sink and it is comfortable to stand on as I do dishes, if I splash water on I just wipe it up with a paper towel and it cleans up nicely. So far the cat doesn't seem to show any interest in it.I like it enough to order another one for in front on the oven.

I have used two NoTrax Kitchen Comfort Mats for 5 years. They have retained their color and springiness for the entire time. They have a low 3/8" profile with a beveled edge (less of a tripping hazard than thicker anti-fatigue mats) but enough padding to reduce fatigue. The only thing I don't like is the deep texture which is rather hard to clean. On the plus side, that deep texture makes them no-slip.I am replacing them with the identical mats because the edges are getting worn and the plastic is getting fine cracks from aging. It says a lot for a product that it lasts so well and that the customer still prefers them to the competition.

We use these in the kitchen (one by the sink and one by the stove). Of course things are going to get spilled on them from time-to-time. No way in the world to clean. I've even taken them outside and used my 3100 psi pressure washer on them. Even then, stains will not fully come out. I should not have to use an industrial power pressure washer to clean for goodness sake!
