Amazon customer since 2008 w/ hundreds of purchases - this is the 1st negative review I've ever left.After only 1 month, these are already rusting & have left stains on my new wheels. The steel is fairly soft & deformed after initial application. These are total junk - don't waste your money.For the record - The car is for track / autocross use & has only been in the driveway since installation.

I picked these up since I autocross my daily driver and change wheels what most people would consider often. I swap competition tires onto the car Friday, swap daily driver tires on Sunday or Monday, 1 or 2 times a month. The finish wore of quick in places contacted by the socket and I noticed the torque needed to get them off was way higher than what I put them on at. I have had Muteki's on my Corvette for 10 years and now I have a set of Muteki's on my daily driver. These are in the garage for spares / emergency use only. These looks worse after 2 months than my 10 year old set on the Corvette.

Got this as a cheaper option to Muteki lug nuts. Must say yeah they are way cheaper. Quality control needs to step it up for sure. The inside of the lug nuts should not be painted. Made the mistake of not checking and they damaged my new ARP wheel studs.Needless to say I will go buy Muteki lug nuts like I should have done from the beginning.

The packaging was excellent. Although I test fit the lug bolts on brand new ARP studs. ARP as most performance enthusiasts know, are second to none. The lug bolts had so much paint and deformed threads I had to run a tap through every bolt. Unacceptable. Not only did the tap remove paint, but lots of metal. Used snap-on tap. They now thread on like they should’ve from the start. Will never buy again.

These are exactly what I bought for the first week after install. Then the color faded to a brownish tint and now they just feel like a cheap lug nut, I wouldn't recommend these for that reason. They work as a lugnut but if you take pride in your cars appearance these will not hold up to your expectations.
