Ok. Accurate. Must buy supplies separately.
I bought this kit primarily because I thought it would be complete, accurate, and the app would simplify and help my life. The glucose meter works fine. The Delica lancet device is ok. The instructions are fairly clear in the booklet. The case is nice but could use more space. There are very, very limited supplies included to get started. So don't "get started" until you buy supplies. Instead use the stuff in the kit for testing and figuring it all out because that's just about how much is in there. There are 10 tests worth of lancets and strips, of which you won't complete 10 tests accurately or maybe not at all, especially if you're new to this like I am.There's also no journal or page to copy to make a journal. You can find some on various website (even an old one from Verio). So if you don't like the automated, not as customizable as they should be settings in the downloadable app, you'll need to start a paper journal (or a different app, your choice).I have complaints about the app. Some of the settings seem customizable, but Verio still controls how much you can adjust them: deletion of entries, how and where manual entries, retroactive or not, parameters of blood glucose readings, range of dates, times of meals.Since Verio doesn't let you adjust certain things accurately, your app gives inaccurate comparisons and high/low warnings. My doctor and I decided I would use a paper journal instead, because the app is misleading with all the things you can't specify correctly.Since the kit was inexpensive, I think the price is fair. But if you want to decide for yourself, add up the separate costs of the meter and Delica because that's the main value of the kit.By the way, the case is ok, but doesn't have a lot of interior space because the devices and test strip canister take up the room inside. I took a side angle photo for this review.

Not as bad as you think, but it's not for everyone.
So overall I have not noticed many problems with the meter, it does its job. Many other people have complained about their readings being somewhat high, although with me this has not been an issue. However, the biggest disappointment with the product is actually its key feature which is its app. I would only recommend using the app if you plan on just having your readings in it and nothing else. If you want to make notes about readings, carbs, etc. on your phone, I would recommend just using a different application. While the Bluetooth itself is quick and easy to use, and indeed it is nice to sync up my meter and instantly have all my readings on my phone, the layout of the app itself is cumbersome to say the least. The layout of the logbook of your daily readings is not well done, and the way readings are divided is very odd, with the readings divided into either Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Bedtime, or Overnight time slots, with no other option. While the time frame of each section can be changed, having the charts laid out this way still makes it very confusing to understand when a reading was actually taken at a glance without clicking into a reading in that time frame, so comparing levels is kinda hard to do. Now I try to fix this problem by making notes on my readings and injections, for example I will mark a reading with RIF (Right hand, Index finger, Front of finger); Breakfast. But the app will only show the earliest reading taken on that time frame (so if the app will display readings between 7am and 11 am as Breakfast, and I have one reading of 123 taken at 8 am, and another reading of 135 at 10 am, the application will just visibly show the 123 reading, but not even it’s time, just the reading. This means the app will not show any notes on tests unless I click on them. This in turn means if I had a reading taken late morning, to see the note I made on it I have to go to the logbook, touch the reading presented at the breakfast slot to see the other readings, carbs, etc in that time slot, THEN touch the reading I want to see to see it’s note. However the app also conveniently charts your readings AND also makes notes of pattern in your blood sugar. This would be nice if it weren’t for the fact that the layout of the chart and patterns is equally strange, and takes some time to understand it's format. Once you do it's somewhat easy enough to understand, but the fact that these things aren't simply presented is very annoying. So overall the meter does it’s job, that I don’t have a problem with. However if you want to get this meter so you can use the app for anything besides just a simple glucose log, use a different app or get a different meter.

Great meter but shipped with low battery.
The flex kit arrived quickly and well packaged. It worked immediately and since I am already familiar with glucometer I had zero hesitations. My only complaint is the battery was down to about ¼ power upon arrival and it's not rechargeable so I will have to purchase a new battery soon unless seller ships me a new battery (-1 star). I have been using this glucometer for over a week now and Bluetooth paired it with my iPhone 6 easily and it works perfectly with the free OneTouch app. I would like to see a rechargeable battery used in future with the USB port as a charging source. Overall very happy with the meter. Would be 5 stars except for used battery issue.

Great device and even better with the app
Read the instructions when pairing the device with your phone!! The android app reviews were awful but I am not sure why. After having difficulty pairing the device to my phone I consulted the instructions and bam I was paired right away.l had a Bayer Contour USB for years but this tester is soooo much better. It takes less blood and connects right to my phone via Bluetooth! Via the app I can easily track individual readings or averages over 14, 30, or 90 days. I use the notes to track how certain meals affect my blood sugar. The holder and case are also very nice.Since very little blood is required for a measurement I have dialed in the lancer to a barely noticeable prick.
