The best book on the House of Worth
I am thrilled by this book. I own several books on the House of Worth, but all the others were somewhat lacking. This book is just what I'd wanted. Fabulous photos in colour and lots of them. Whole outfits plus details. Over 300 pages. Fantastic detail on the house of Worth. This book is expensive but far and away the best on the subject.I was lucky and managed to order a damaged copy at reduced price. The book was unread and perfect except for a creased cover.

A book worthy of the genius that was Charles Frederick Worth ( and Sons)
A beautiful book and worth every penny. It's a quite sumptious, large, very well researched, beautifully illustrated book with stunning, clear, detailed colour photographs of some of the most wonderful dresses ever made. An absolute must for anyone interested in costume for film, theatre or fashion.

Wonderfully Illustrated Book
One of the best costume/fashion Book I’ve ever purchased. All the photos & illustrations are so clear you can see all the seams & detail of the construction of the garments. Takes you a time of luxurious fashion for the elite. Wonderful. A must for lovers of costume & fashion as well as fashion students.

One of the best books on Worth I’ve read
Fascinating insight into the birth of haute couture and the man who created such gorgeous confections. Details everything from clients to materials and provided a breakdown of each of the Worth men and their distinctive house styles! Amazing!!!
