Universal Air Conditioner CO 10759C A/C Compressor

The media could not be loaded.  I haven’t installed it yet. I will be tomorrow night. Update to come in the next week. It looks crispy and beefier than the others so far. Came super quick. Like within a few hours.

You can find rebuilds for considerably cheaper but this is a good price for a brand new compressor. Seemed to be very high quality. Many rebuilt compressors either don't work when you get them, or don't last.

Worked great for about 6 months and now it has a loud bearing type noise coming from the clutch. It is still working for now but that's the reason why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1.

Installed on 2007 Mazda 3 2.3L. After reading a few reviews on the re-manufactured compressors about noise and condition, I opted for this one. So glad I did. For a few extra $ you get a new product, the connector fits the vehicle so there's no need to splice on a new one, and the holes for the supplies lines had covers bolted on so no concern about oil leaking in transit.

First one failed within 12 hours of usage.Second one sent was the wrong item in the box. Box was labeled with the right model, and hte sticker on the unit had the right model. But it was a totally different model. Had the wrong clutch plate, wrong power fitting (male instead of female), similar bolt layout but wrong.Third one had the same problem as the second. Contacted UAC and they said they encountered this before, I guess mislabeled items going out.So far, not impressed.

Product wiring harness was slightly different than factory, but the portion that plugs into Mazda 5 harness was exactly the same. Very straight forward install and was happy to have cold air again. Happy to say the new compressor is not loud, cools very well and bolted right up without any issues. Make sure you order new o rings so you can eliminate a failure point for leaks since you'll have it apart.

Showed my mechanic the description of the unit and he oked the purchase. I received the unit in 2 days and my mechanic installed it in 3 hours. It was a perfect fit for my Mazda 3 custom. I felt nice cold air on the way home.

You can't beat this price, that's what made me purchase it in the first place. Well, actually there's another option on Amazon that's a bit cheaper, so maybe also look into it. Overall, it is a good unit that works. It blows cold air, and there was no issues with installation.But the very loud click it makes when the AC clutch engages... And overall loud noise of the unit, makes your car sound like there's something broken. But you get used to it pretty fast. It's been over two weeks since the installation and so far no issues. If your mechanic is doing the installation, don't woorry about getting anything else, they'll have all the little rubber gaskets and liquid. The stretch belt on the other hand? You might want to put in a new one as well and save on the labor next time when it breaks.Apparently I've read that the warranty is 1 year? But that's not the Amazon warranty. So make sure you test it a lot right after you install it.Will update if anything changes.

My mechanic installed it today on my 2006 2.3L Mazda 3 and it works great! Very happy as the part is almost half of the price that my mechanic quoted me for.Update: It has been a year since installation and it still works great! As others have noted, there is a loud click when I turn on the A/C, but it does not bother me. My only complaint is that the air doesn't get as cold as I would like it on really hot days. But, I can't expect too much on a 2006 car.

Me gustó que el equipo llegó una semana antes de lo previsto, más sin embargó no me gustó que me enviaran un artículo diferente al de la foto. Deberían de aclarar que es compatible y publicar otra foto del producto que van a mandar.
