Lasts about a year
Mine lasted a year before the wires started to fray at the headphone connectors. Cheap replacement that works for awhile.

Stellar replacement cable - an absolute bargain.
I'm frankly kind of amazed. I thought for 30 bucks I'd get a decent spare cable for my 535s, and the specs are better than those of the Shure stock cable (they aren't published, but a salesperson tracked down the info from Shure for me). This cable looks and feels pretty cheap, perhaps because it's clear, very thin, incredibly lightweight, and looks like the plastic fantastic. Disappointed, I sat down to test it. I put on some well known tunes that I've recorded hi rez from vinyl and listened, first with the stock cable, which sounds pretty good. I left all settings on the player except for re-cueing the tunes, swapped cables on my earphones, hit play, and BAM! I literally jumped. I knew the impedence on this cord was lower than the stock but I was not prepared for the flood of sound waves that came barreling through these tiny OCC wires. Time is kept in my tune of choice by the beautiful plucking of a double bass - the difference in that bass with the Mekoko cable was remarkable, pronounced, and immediate. It was bigger, tighter, fuller, more realistic. There's just more there there. Mids were warm and fluid, and highs caught air. Interestingly, there is some nasty sibilance in a couple of spots of this recording; it was tamed through this cable. I'm just blown away. For $30. I spent $300 on a replacement solid silver cable for my Audeze LCD-3s and heard nowhere near this kind of improvement. If you have Shure earbuds, you need this cable. It's just that simple. I just hope the thing lasts...

Not bad
Had a pair of SE215's that were stored for years because of audio constantly cutting in and out with the slightest turn of the head.Quite infamously, the stock cables on those units are pretty volatile. But these cables are much cheaper and now the SE215 are finally functional again. However I've gone through two of these, all within less of a years time in between purchases. The first pair lasted for nine months and the second pair lasted only seven months. The problem with both cables is that the cable that joins to the MMCX connector ends up slowly pulling itself out. Engendering the loss of audio in one side.Although this product is at a great price, be aware that if you use your IEM's daily, like me, you may have to replace these cables yearly, or less than in my case.

Good customer service
After a little over a month of moderate use, the cable is starting to malfunction and cut my music out in each of my ears until I wiggle the wire and get it into just the right spot. It still looks fine, but doesn't work. I do not recommend, invest in a better cable that will last longer.EDIT: Updated review to 3 stars for the time being as the seller sent me a replacement free of charge as soon as the product started to malfunction. Hopefully I just received a defective product and this one functions with no issues. The customer service was great and a pleasure to deal with.

excellent customer service
I have been using this for a few years and love it, but am taking the time to write a review for the great customer service from the company. I need to replace these every so often as they get a lot of abuse from using them all day for my job, and the last one I ordered unfortunately arrived defective. The company quickly sent me another one, no questions asked, which works perfectly. Thank you so much for the great service and I hope this inspires someone else to make a purchase.

Marginal quality
They look great. They're a little shorter than the original cable. They do not have the wire in them that molds around your ears and tend to not stay put. I've had these for a few months now and they have developed a short in one ear. Definitely not the same quality as original cable which lasted 8 years.

Okay, but seems fragile and doesn't seem to offer any advantage over standard Shure cables
It's okay - seems a little fragile and so having an angular plug for the headphone connection to the device would help. I used the cable on a set of Shure 315's. There was no real advantage in sound clarity or background noise compared to the standard (non-apple) Shure cable - which does have a 90-degree plug. Overall, it seems this product does not really offer substantial advantage over standard Shure cables (at least for both the Shure 315 and 535.
