If you're buying this because you had experience with the earlier gum drop cases it doesn't compare. This thing will barely fit on the iPad it will take you 30 minutes of cussing to try to get it on. It's been redesigned you can't even get the cover on. The reviews that I saw prior to buying it one lady didn't even have an iPad to put in it. She gave it five stars how do you review something and give it five stars when you don't even have an iPad to put in it. This thing is going back to the manufacture 60 bucks for this give me a freaking break. Unfortunately you can't rate is lower than one star.

I think Gumdrop cases are the absolute best!! I got my first one years ago for a Samsung Tab2 10" tablet. I've tried other brands but Gumdrop is still the best! When I received my iPad Pro 9.7, I got another Gumdrop and it's perfect. Heavy duty, stylish, and not too bulky. The screen protector is crystal clear. No annoying flap over the charging port. It's great!

I have two other Gumdrop cases for my older IPads and love them. The case for the IPad 9.7 pro is totally different. It doesn't totally inclose the IPad completely, there is a hole for the charger and a hole for the function button. The clear cover over IPad is just pressed into the silicone not snapped into place like old ones .Better than nothing but would not get another one.

You just can't go wrong with a gumdrop case. I've broken a few iPads by dropping them, but never had an issue after I found Gumdrop cases. They're a bit heavy, since they're made out of thick rubber, but they're probably the most durable and protective cases on the market. No, they're not waterproof, but for drop protection they're the best!

Use them for all of my Service Tech out in the field. They drop them from time to time and sometimes even water gets on it. The Gum Drop holds up for 2 years, in rough terrains.

Very sturdy. It does whati need it to do.It would be nice if there was a way to use the smart keyboard with it. Nbd

They have changed the perfect case and now it's horrible. I have gumdrop cases on and iPhone 4, iPhone 6+, iPad mini, Ipad 2 - most every tech device I own and have been so happy with them. They keep my devices safe from drops at 5 ft to the ground, sugar soda spilled right on it, and basic wear and tear. But, this case is different. It's only 2 pieces instead of 3. My iPad Pro hardly fits in the main case. And, the screen protector will not attach. It's like something is warped. I can NOT recommend this case and am sending mine back.

It's ok, but found a less expensive and more protective alternative

In the famous words of Black Adder - Utter Crap! The screen protector (front) frame does not fit in the groove around the edge of the case and as such keeps coming off! The plastic transparent screen also comes away from the frame where it is sticky taped on so will not provide even rudimentary dust protection let alone protect the screen against rain if it were to be used outdoors! (The plastic transparent screen was coming away from the frame in the box and I stupidly thought it would stick back down). The main protective case comes off the iPad all this time in one corner. (You also can’t use the fingerprint recognition home button either as the protective front screen doesn’t allow quite enough space for your thumb / fingerprint to access the space).The iPad screen has now cracked as a result of it being dropped off the sofa (a distance of about 40cm) and landing on the corner where the screen protector has yet again come off!! All in all a very poorly executed design that has failed to protect my iPad and now has left me with a bill fro several hundred pounds to replace the screen! Do not buy!!
