Awesome book for the Beatles aficionado!
If you are a Beatles fan, this is the definite book for you, as it shows the genesis of the band. I definitely recommend reading this book, and then traveling to Liverpool, and visiting the child homes of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Even though John Lennon played the “bad boy“, and proclaim he was the “working class hero“, he was actually a spoiled rich kid, comparatively speaking with the rest of the guys in the band. (Especially compared to Ringo Starr and George Harrison!!)

THE DAY JOHN MEET PAUL

A lovely read.
Certainly this book is for the serious fan,if only because I can't imagine anyone else being tempted to purchase a copy. Having said that, the book is as much a well observed and affectionate snapshot of Liverpool in the late fifties as it is a music book per se. There is more than a hint of Joyce's Ulysses in the unfolding of the tale, although who would be Bloom and who Stepehen Dedalus would be hard to say! So:a great idea, well told and with genuine drama, a book which any lover of books, and not just a Beatles completist, could well enjoy.

The one day that changed music history
For all you Beatle fans, this is a good one. Centers around one single day which changed the course of music history. A must read. Cool insight into the day the Beatles began,
