Churchill Blue Willow Fine China Earthenware Oval Dish 12.5", Made In England

My son ordered this for my mum for Christmas. It's a really lovely plate. Well made and beautifully decorated. It's quite heavy too, it will no doubt last a very long time.What I was personally blown away by was the packaging, it was so secure I think you could have dropped it from a plane without damaging the plate. It was really well wrapped in a card/thick paper netting, so much that i was expecting a prankster to pop out when we got to the end. And even with all that protection it was suspended in the box with packing nuts.. but not just any packing nuts, these were environmentally friendly! Fantastic forward thinking.

What a beautiful set of serving plates although size looks more like a large dinner plate than what I would expect a serving plate to look like . A review said looked cheap with no branding, wasn’t the case for my purchase . Has Churchill brand on the back of them . Print in perfect alignment to the plate Looks expensive and heavy . They will last a long time . Packing was out of this world and stuffing was biodegradable, great for the environment . Plan on buying 4 more
