This kit is a lovely beginner's kit and an introduction to wood carving, indeed. The quality is as one might expect and will last for many projects. I do recommend this product. I must say that there are no instructions as to "how to use" the tools to achieve the end goal and/or what each tool is capable of doing. The instructions appear on the product page if you can find them and even then they are vague at best. As I purchased for a younger person unaccustomed to working with such sharp instruments, we were sure to watch many "how to" and safety vidoes online. That's all - otherwise, loved it.

Was everything I hoped it would be....I love it!!

I was expecting a decent tool, but these knives surprised me. They are now my go to knives. The hook knife needed a little sharpening, but the others were very sharp out of the box.

I'm leaning in and getting more tools to play with.

This was a gift. The set looked well made. Very nice.

It arrived quickly.I used them to carve basswood wood spirits. And a wooden spoon that came with my order.

The set is great value for the money. Tools are well built and it comes with everything you need to get started.
