Q: Does this antenna pick up television frequencies?

If your intention is only to pick up TV, then I wouldn't recommend this antenna. There are many antennas specifically tuned for TV that would work much better. Ideal use of this antenna is two way radio and scanner. If you want to pick up TV audio with your scanner, it may however remember that tv is digital now and analog scanners will not pick it up.
