Clever Tool for Tight Spaces—Works Best with Patience
The Zezzo Magnetic Wiremag Puller is a smart solution for fishing wires through enclosed walls, especially where traditional fish tape struggles. The magnetic system makes it easier to guide cables around insulation, studs, or tight bends without damaging drywall. I used it for a Starlink Ethernet run through a finished wall, and it saved me from tearing things open. The magnets are strong enough to track through most drywall and light paneling, but you’ll need to go slow and steady. It takes a bit of finesse to keep the magnets aligned, especially over longer distances or thicker materials. The included leader and eyelet are handy, though I recommend taping your cable ends tightly to avoid snags. Overall, it’s a great tool for DIYers and pros alike—especially in retrofit jobs. Just be patient, and it’ll get the job done cleanly.

Works well
Only used once so far but seem very good for indoor wire pulls through Sheetrock. Quality craftsmanship so seems like I can use it a long time.

A must have for remodeling and running electric etc
First of all the magnetic strength is awesome. This is not a toy. You can definitely hurt a finger etc. I come from the old school we used to Jerry rig stuff like this with car speaker magnets etc. Or we'd just run a fish tape rods etc. This is one of those tools you'll be glad you have and when you need it not many other things are better. I've pulled wire up down and across my walls and ceilings with it and it can double as a stud finder. Very versatile and can fit in just about space even tight conduit lath and plaster walls etc. you can adjust it in numerous ways depending on what you need to do. Very good value. There's similar systems for more than double the cost. If you're curious about the benefits and don't want to buy the more expensive ones give it a try.

Magnet not too strong
I was able to run a 50 foot ethernet cable but not without challenges. Magnets could be stronger. I decided to return it.

Buy this! Everything else doesn’t work.
If you already have a conduit and are looking to pass another cable through it or installing a new one, this is the way to go. I tired all other fishing gadgets and they all failed, this has a very strong magnet and gets the job done in one minute.

Not good for exterior walls; perhaps good for interior
While the principle and working is great on a bear sheetrock, you would struggle on insulated walls. The small bait magnet is not powerful enough to work along the insulated sheetrock. you would not want to make holes to put in the big magnet. While it was a novelty, I ended up making two more holes the clear the path, which ai will need to plug. Plus, the marks that magnet left on sheet rock caused a clean up

Best wire runner you can buy
Best wire runner you can buy. It comes with 2 different size magnets for different projects. I like the smaller one, as it’s easier to handle. The other one feels a little bulky. I ran multiple hdmi cables with ease. If you’re looking to complete the job quick and easy without getting stuck, this is the one for you.

Worked with double layer drywall!
I was able to use this through a double layer ceiling drywall (2x 5/8") for new ceiling lights. Not real strong but adequate to work when there were no obstacles such as insulation.
