Benjamins Bay Rum Mentholated

I have been using bay rum since I was a child in the West Indies, great product.

This is a very good product

Great smell but not overpowering. Using it as aftershave doesn't burn like others. I mix it in my palm with a small amount of face cream to hydrate my face.

Refreshing and has classic Bay Rum scent.

This stuff is great when your sciatica is acting up and you don't want to use bengay but you want to smell wonderful and have a mentholated rub deeply entering your tissues I will buy this again and again good stuff directly from Jamaica bUy it!!!!!!

It's mentholated. That's the best part!

Good aftershave

I had ordered the Mentholated but I received the Regular Bay Rum by Benjamins. That seller has been taken offline by Amazon because of negative feedback .This product has very good bay rum scent and does a great job cooling and toning. I use it after Ive been outside on my head rather than as a aftershave. Made in Jamaica and is worth trying. I like it alot.

Was looking for a decent Bay Rum in the U.K., there didn’t seem to be many available, so thought I’d try this - glad I did! Loaded with cloves and a nice little menthol kick! Doesn’t give a HUGE ‘sting’ after shaving, but enough to know it’s doing its job (closing pores and preventing infection); the menthol hit is just enough, the sting gives way to the cooling effect, and the scent lingers a little longer than some other, more expensive Bay Rums. Very good value for money! Barbers in the U.K. take note! Great for hot towel, straight razor shaves!

I bought this bay rum because the smell reminds me of my parents… they used to keep a bottle of ice bay rum lotion in the bedroom and rub it on their legs and feet while relaxing before bed. This seller was responsive, and shipping was great. Thank you for the great product and giving me a bit of nostalgia!

Just leave on the longer the better, use scalp manipulation.

This is a good bay rum product. I use it as an aftershave, but it can be a general invigorating splash too.The menthol gives you a great cooling sensation, which is nice after a shave. The scent dries down to a fairly pure bay rum, without a lot of clove or cinnamon. If you're looking for a clean bay oil scent, then the Benjamins range is worth checking out.One thing to note: the scent doesn't last long. For me, this isn't a big problem. I don't like having a big cloud of strong fragrance wafting around me all day. I prefer my scents to be mild and subtle. But if you're the type who likes their scent more powerful, then you may find this a bit underwhelming.

Brilliant for after shaving or hair cuts etc. Also useful for spots and skin bumps. And when my son was young I used to put a little in my hand and rub it on his head/scalp - avoiding eyes- when he had a head cold,( just before bed and after his bath and going bed); as the menthol in it draws the cold out and helps them breath. But it only works with the mentholated Bay Rum. Been using it for over 20 years.
