I had to fiddle around with the threads at the top to get the chimes to hang straight. Hence the 4 star for gift ability. But the quality is good and it wasn’t a big deal to fix the threads. I wouldn’t let that stop you from ordering. It looks nice and has a nice sound.

I really just bought these to hang in an ornamental tree at night to scare off raccoons who were climbing and damaging it, but these chimes look great and sound so good, I've left them there permanently.Really good value. Would make a nice gift.

The wind chimes are a bit larger (longer), and the tone is bolder (louder), than anticipated. They are also made better, look nicer, and the musicality is more pleasant, than anticipated. They come in a plain white box, suitable for wrapping, so as to make a good gift or stocking stuffer. I'm using these at the family cemetery, hanging on a tall shepherd's hook, with floral wire and a bit of electrical tape to keep them from accidentally sailing off the hook in strong winds. Hoping they last several months, as this would be a decent alternative to artificial flowers that fade so quickly.
