Once the suction is created, rotate the pole in whichever direction to tighten or loosen the bulb. Pull a string to detach the suction cup from the bulb.

Q: I have a small halogen light bulb that pushes in? Will this item work to remove and replace the bulb?

Possibly depending on the diameter of the bulb. Might be difficult to align the pins of the replacement bulb.
