Bright Starts Baby Toy, ABC Hamster House

We LOVE this! The first time my son (who is 16 months) ever said "ooooh!" was when the balls started coming down the slide after spinning the wheel. This is one of those toys that you just can't find in the stores anymore, and would make a great birthday gift for a baby's first birthday. They may like the balls at first, or opening and closing the door and the hatch, but it will grow with them. They'll learn over the next year how to operate the wheel, and the relationships between the wheel and the slide, and the hatch and the door. I would definitely recommend this to everyone with small kids!

Bought this for one of my 15-month old twins for Christmas because we loves things that spin. His brother is actually the one who plays with it the most. He loves the doors. Now, at the end of January, they have both pretty much figured out how it all works. I'd buy it again as it gets played with daily. My ONLY minor complaint is that if you spin the wheel too fast at all, the balls skip the opening to go down the ramp. Not a huge deal at all and I do not feel it takes away from the toy.

My one year old loves this toy! It is a relatively inexpensive toy that they quickly figure out how to do themselves. I like that it has a couple different options for where to put the ball (through the chute, or a little door on the side). It has also been jam proof so far. He puts just about anything that will fit down the chute, and we've been able to easily get it back out. It plays music, but it isn't overly loud, and the music is cute.

Cute but doesn't entertain for long. You have to turn the wheel a good five or six times before the ball comes out so sometime she just gives up.

This is one of the best toys! We got it at about 9 months and it has lasted well into 13 months so far, though it would have been enjoyed sooner as well. There are so many fun things to do with this toy between the tunnel, wheel, slide, horizontal swing door, and vertical swings door. Very entertaining and the music is nice.

Bought it for our 9 1/2 month old grandson for Christmas. He LOVES it. He hasn't quite figured out that spinning the wheel is what makes the balls come down the slide, but he loves putting the balls in and spinning the wheel--he just does it in "his" way. I think he'll "get it" soon, though.

Babies loved the wheel and the noise it makes even before they got the concept of putting the balls into the tube. Balls are easy to grasp and hold. Limited play options so it won't have as long of a play life but babies are enjoying it for now.
