I bought these brackets to add a little more security and peace of mind for when I go out of town. They were very easy to install, especially with the drill through holes. I had them up in no time. They seem to be good quality and strong. If I have a need for them, I would buy them again.

These brackets are well made and look nice. In my application I used these to add stability to my double fence. I added the bracelets and 2×4s in-between the separate gates. I installed one set on the front and one set on the back of gate.They are a little high priced,

I thought these brackets were too small but they have worked out nicely.

I used these for a removeable 2x4 barricade/railing in a place that really shows. The brushed nickel finish on these brackets matches the door hardware in my house. The finish is much nicer than the galvanized brackets you find at big box stores. Those would work in a garage, but these are for the inside of your home where you care about what they look like. They are SUPER sturdy and strong, and very easy to install thanks to the design. If you're using this to barricade an inswing door and need to prevent kick-ins, you should probably get some longer screws. But for our purposes, the screws provided were fine.

The brackets are heavy duty and seem to have a powder coat like finish. The screws that come with the brackets would probably suffice but I used 3” deck screws for the added security. Your not ripping them brackets off the wall. I like the 2 holes on the front of the brackets, you could use them if you wanted to make a way so the 2x4 won’t slide or be lifted off the brackets. I used a seasoned 2x4 oak that is so hard you can’t drive a nail in it. Door is secure.

It's a good product, however when your sell things for security the screws should be longer,3" or4".

These work great, are easy to install, and are very strong. We didn't get exactly what we ordered, as we ordered two stainless, and got one stainless and one black. Both seem to be very strong, but prefer the look of the stainless much more. My 1/2 star deduction is because the screws they send with it aren't long enough in my opinion. They mount fine, but they don't go very deep into the studs of the door frame (if at all), and that's where the strength will come from too. I would buy them again, but be prepared to replace the screws for better mounting strength.

The brackets seem well made and sturdy, but they definitely don't take 2x4 inch timber. I got my timber to fit after a bit of work with the chisel to cut a couple of grooves. Good brackets though, just a shame they're not a little bigger.

They seem expensive but they are substantial and definitely do the job. Stainless steel at 3.5mm thick, is expensive stuff.The description suggests that they are suitable for use with a 2in by 4in beam but the inner dimension is about 40mm, a little over 1.5in.Would be better with a slot in the bottom of the U to take a staple so that the beam could be secured with a padlock.

Wonderful. Secured the large wooden gates against the south coast gales and blustery winds. Saved my life. The brackets are nicely packaged too.

This is a great product, was a little apprehensive about buying as there were no reviews..but glad I did, plus also purchased another pair... Wanted something to keep my back gate extra secure..without buying yet more padlocks.. saw these and thought I'd give them a go ..absolutely marvellous...thought they were a bit on the expensive side, but when I received them i could get why...as they are very solid and well made... Would definitely recommend this item...came well packaged and quite promptly...

Used a pair of these to make it possible to barricade the inside of our bedroom door. In the event of a break in we will go inside and prevent burglars from getting to us. The brackets are fine with so called "4 by 2 lumber", which, after drying and planing is supplied three and a half inches by one and a half inches.
