Quick delivery
A quick delivery, I would have liked a slightly better packaging. Didn't sit supper secure in the thin package and if the package had have some wight over it, it could have come cracked. But it came whole and the cartridge looked and worked great. So I'm happy.

Lots of Replay Value
The story is a bit dated but aligns with a remake of a game made in the 1990’s (originally on the SNES) the enhanced 3D gameplay is a big leap and compares to the gameplay used in the FF7 2020 remake using a party of 3 (1x player controlled + 2x AI controlled) which is what was used in the originalThe play diversity comes from the party class combinations and the class upgrade options, which is where the New Game play feature becomes a big selling point...you can’t see everything in just 2 play through’sThe demand on enough story for 6 protagonists means there are just some situations where a party member has a strange reaction to even their own story...(a bit like in Octo-path Traveler) but the faster gameplay and making just 1 party member into a high powered avatar of destruction is possible on any play through, best parts are:+Turning all 6 protagonists into high power Heroes+ Play Hours per dollar value is high+ Simple Story that doesn’t waste your time+ I bought the digital version which has DLC not available on the retail version but does not affect story nor later gameplay+ The 6 playable heroes are: Swordsman, Lancer, Rogue, Mage, Cleric, and Monk (Werewolf) and they get unique higher skills depending on class upgrades

An opportunity to play this game in a new light
For £30 it’s a great remake of a classic Japanese Super Famicon Action JRPG. Just finished No No Kuni and wanted something with a little more action and button mashing. Trials of mana delivers with everything I wanted. A simple storyline that’s very much of its time blended with new 3D visuals, a new remake of the soundtrack and lot of great voice acting. I played the demo on Switch and enjoyed it as a fairly simple pick up and play game so decided to buy the physical copy as it was £20 cheaper than on the Nintendo online store. What’s nice is it keeps your save from the rather long demo. So if you enjoy the demo you can pick up where you started instantly.Fun, colourful, not too serious and some what of a passion project by Square Enix. 8/10
