Simple, easy, eco friendly
I like to drink through straws. I'm weird like that. But plastic straws are not only a pain in butt sometimes (try pushing measly plastic through ice that has fused together a bit) but they're also pretty wasteful. I happened on these Savvy Straws during prime day and figured why not? They're awesome. The fact that they're made of stainless steel which makes them fairly indestructible is great. And they include a cleaning scrub brush (plus they're dishwasher safe). I've had them for a bit over a week and I love them. I do not recommend them for small kids though. I'm a klutz and I have managed to bust my lip open once so far (total operator error here....nothing wrong with the product). My jug slipped in my hand and I banged my lip right into the straw. So kids that aren't the most coordinated probably shouldn't use them. Beyond my own klutziness and injury due to it they've worked perfectly as expected. And their customer service has been fantastic. It's not very often I get follow up emails to make sure I was happy with a purchase.(And no I did not receive the item discounted for my review...Amazon really needs to lay off of those...I bought them at full price and I'm very blunt about whether I like an item or not).

Be careful if you're sensitive to cold or hot...
They work. The cleaner brush also works well. Stainless steel conducts the cold extremely well. Gave 3 stars only because - When using with a smoothie, I have to wrap my lips around my teeth in order to use. Otherwise, yikes! Do not buy if you have any cold sensitivity. It almost hurts to use them with cold drinks. Prefer a straw that doesn't conduct whatever temperature the drink is. Also have to be careful as I like to chew on straws and, of course, it hurts to try and chew on stainless steel. I recommend only if your teeth are perfect or you're desperate to save the planet one straw at a time.

I have always been a straw person so for years I have been buying straws and putting up with damaged ones, having to throw them away, always making sure I had one, etc. Having these is great! Usually just a quick rinse and I can put it in my next cup of whatever.
