Almost Like Sugar
I'm cutting back on sugar and Wholesome Organic's Erythritol is as close to the real thing as I've found. It can be use 1:1 just like sugar. The only difference in flavor I've found is that it has an oh so slight cooling sensation. It can also cause gas if overused. That and its price keep it from being a home run for me, but Wholesome Organic Zero Calorie Free is the best value I've found. It is Keto friendly, Organic, and non-GMO, but is sourced from corn grown in China.~ Kort

worked well in a cake, but in the future will use stevia in addition to give more sweetness
Worked well as a substitute for sugar in a cake. The cake turned out just as moist and fluffy as if I had used sugar. The taste was definitely not sugar-y, but I expected that. Erythritol tastes like what you might imagine a sugar alcohol to taste like. I know the conversion is supposed to be 1 1/3 cup of erythritol to 1 cup of sugar but even with the extra 1/3 cup, and although the cake was sweet, there was a strange flavor accompanying the sweet. I did expect this as I've used sugar alcohols before in drinks, however this is a note of warning to those who might expect their baked goods to taste exactly like they would if they used sugar. The taste is definitely not the same. Now I realize why a lot of sugar-free products (including baked goods) use a combination of erythritol and stevia. The erythritol gives the baked goods fluffiness and that nice cake-y texture, but the stevia is what gives the real sweetness. In the future, I will add a couple of packets of stevia as an addition to the erythritol when baking cakes.

Look for 100% Erythritol
I've been using the wholesome Sweetners brand for years. I tried the Now brans for the first time because I found it cheaper.I think they are comparable.Beware: These are much better that the Nectreese sweetner crap - which is deceptively labeled and has a nasty after taste. They say made from Monk fruit. Wow! and you read later that they have added a few grains of the monk fruit extract. It also contains sugar and mollasses? It's like something form a chemical factory! What do you expect from the makers of Splenda, I am not going to return mine because it's not worth the hassle. But I will never buy Nectresse sweetner again. Instead I will stick to Now or Wholesome Sweetners 100% erythritolwhich has zero after tastezero calories and zero glycemic indexlooks like sugarIs a natural product it is not bad for you except - If you have more than 20 teaspoons a day it will act as a laxative, So make sure those days you stay close to the throne.I use it in my hot tea and it dissolves quickly. One thing you need to add a lot. it is not super concentrated. So if you would normally add 1.5 teaspoons of regualar sugar then I would add 2 teaspoons of this stuff.

Not Sweet as Regular Sugar
This zero calories product does not as sweet as the regular sugar. You should put a lot in order to get it sweet as regular sugar. Not sure if it is organic and zero calories, so the product is not so sweet. Consider twice before you buy, if you want something healthy, and no calories. Then you can choose this one. But if you want favor, it is better to think about it.

Good Sugar Substitute
I bought this in error but was not very pleased with it. The crystals do not dissolve very well so the sweetness remains at the bottom of the cup but it does sweeten if you mix really really well. The upside is that it does not have the bitter aftertaste of stevia and monk fruit.
