Can you use it to seal a tail light?

I really don't think that would seal I per say it's not to good at holding plastic that I have found.

Why is the shipping cost so high ? 2&1/2 time the cost of the product !

If later I want to remove the cord trim, can it be removed without damaging my wall by applying heat?

I would definitely try it in an inconspicuous area first. I use Gorilla hot glue when I want something to stay in place for a very, very long time.
