Very comprehensive and clear. It is the ideal book for young attorneys and a good refresher for seasoned attorneys.

This is truly excellent book and very easy to read. It contains a wealth of techniques in the fine art of persuasion. Had I known about this book 10 years previous, I would most definitely be on a higher level of salary in my workplace.....

Ottimo, chiaro, brillante nell'esposizione e nella trattazione di vari temi "deontologici", cioè relativi alla figura, al ruolo e alla condotta dell'avvocato, nel processo e non.Naturalmente pensato per il sistema anglosassone, ma moltissimi suggerimenti sono validi - anzi validissimi - anche per i giuristi italiani.Non bisogna farsi ingannare dal titolo: non serve a preparare avvocati diavoli nè avvocati del diavolo, ma ottimi, corretti e seri professionisti delle regole del diritto.

If you have any interest in advocacy, whether from a lay perspective or to advance your existing understanding of the key skills of an advocate, I would highly recommend this book.What makes it most readable is that it is very concise, to the point and helpful in an extremely insightful way.The format of the book is perhaps its most appealing feature: small enough to take with you but most of the pages are acutely short, which corresponds to the author’s sharp writing style. Oddly, it makes it feel immensely readable as you go through it.The depth of the author’s experience is considerable and impressive which adds to the sense of obtaining quality insight from someone that knows what they are talking about.

This book is witty and contains a ton of practical wisdom for the young and seasoned lawyer alike.
