Bright, Dimmable, and Saves $$$
Great LED bulb for a floor lamp with a reading lamp. Gives off bright light in the middle of the warm light scale. LEDs are cooler than standard bulbs. Best of all, it will last many years and lower the cost of electricity by 80%. At this price - it is a bargain.

Good alternative to conventional bulb
Bought as a replacement for a display case that had a conventional bulb. Its brighter than the replaced bulb and gives off less heat

Good
If you live near an Ikea, just buy them there. If not, then these work very well. In my opinion they are a little expensive, but they work great for lighting up a work space.

I picked one of these up at the IKEA store for the socket on the side of a friend's IKEA NOT floor lamp. Placed about 3-4 feet from the subject, it's pretty bright.
