Synergylab Pets Training Aid Fooey Ultra Bitter Gel (120.5g)

This has a really stinky pervasive smell during application and I was very hopeful it would keep my lab from eating his bandage over a leg wound. I needed to wear rubber gloves to apply it over my dog's leg bandage to be sure not even a single drop got on my hands. Also I couldn't breathe too deep because it would make me cough. But did it stop my lab? Only for the first couple of days, then he ate his entire bandage! After the initial application, I could not smell the product when my dog was near me but I definitely took care to use gloves when I handled his bandage.

Other reviewers have said that this product didn’t work for their rabbit. I was hoping that it would work for mine. Nope. As I applied it to the legs of a table with a small paint brush, she hopped over excitedly and stuck her nose in to get a taste. She then happily ate it right off the brush and has chewed or licked it off of everything I applied it to. It has actually worked as a attractant rather than a deterrent.

Ordered this for my dog who keeps chewing on shoes, the package was easily 4x the size of the tube, when I opened the bubble envelope, I was instantly covered in this gel, about 1/4 to 1/2 of the bottle was pooled in the bottom of the envelope. On the positive it does work well. It does not come off easily I have washed my hands with dawn several times and washed them with vinegar several times as well and its still on my hands and It got on my mouth and it does taste gross.

It’s no reflection on this product that it doesn’t work! My 2020 puppy is a butthead. She looks dead at me right after licking the wooden moose ! At least she’s not chewing it tho . Please wear a glove like the instructions say!This will stop anyone from putting their hands in their mouth! Even after washing my hands 3 times I can still taste it ! 😆yep it’s keeping my hands out of my mouth now !

Does not deter my puppy as well as the Spray does . However all puppies are different
