It really is SUPER!!!
As a recent convert to the fabulous world of menstrual cups, I asked around to see if other users I know had a favorite, and the Super Jennie came up. I did some research on it and watched/read quite a few reviews before finally ordering one for myself. I've tried only 3 other cups, but I have to say... I don't think I need to look any further. There are several reasons that really sold me on this cup. This cup is amazing. It's so comfortable, I actually forgot I was using it for a while. I'll admit when I first saw it I was a bit intimidated by the size, but it was just as easy to use as my others. I usually prefer a medium firmness cup and I was honestly a bit skeptical of the Super Jennie when I first opened up the box and felt how soft it seemed to be... however, upon using the cup, I had no problems getting it to open with both the punch down and the c fold. It worked on the first try, and just as easily for the duration of my period. I ordered a large/blue, the silicone is nice and clear, very easy to clean (even the air holes), stem and grip rings are nice, I found them very useful since this cup had good suction. As a woman with a very heavy period, my main focus was capacity, and this is one of the highest rated cups around for capacity. When I was still using disposables, I'd have to change the heaviest absorbency tampon (ultra with an overnight pad for backup... but this has always been normal for me, it runs in my family) every 2 hours on my heaviest day. I wore the Super Jennie over my last period and I was able to go 4... yes FOUR hours without emptying it.During my heaviest day, I was in the throes of a pretty severe cold, so I was coughing a lot. That tends to cause leakage with disposables or reusables. I wore a pad as backup, but I can proudly say I didn't have a single shift or leak. I'd like to add that I was out and about running errands for most of the day as well and didn't leak a single drop. This was also the first successful overnight cup for me, I was able to sleep without leaking, even though I tend to toss and turn a lot.Overall I'd definitely recommend giving this cup a try for ANY of the above reasons. They're just the tip of the iceberg with the benefits of menstrual cups over disposables, but I'll leave that to you to research. I'll admit I wasn't overly concerned with the environment or the chemicals (they're like an added bonus to reusables in my case), I was more concerned with managing my period in a way that made me feel more comfortable. Having tried out at least 3 others of different shapes/sizes, the Super Jennie is my favorite by a landslide, it's definitely worth the money and I plan on buying another.UPDATE: A year and a half later I still love this cup! I did order a second one when they came out with the pink (July, 2017), and some people have reported a downgrade in the quality of the cup, but I didn't notice that to be the case at all. I still use both the blue and pink cups, and I always have one with me. Since then I have used several other brands, and this one is still my favorite, hands down.

Life changing, just buy it
Disclaimer: Giving TMI here to help others. My flow: heavy (150-200 ml per period)My cervix: medium to high, fluctuates on the dayCups I've tried: Lena (large), Saalt (small), Lily (type 1/small), and now Super Jennie (large)Details:My flow was heavy before I got the copper IUD, and it's become unmanageable afterward. I'd fill up a 32ml cup in 45 minutes to 1 hr for 2-3 days straight, and it would leak all over the place. I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home when needed, but I definitely couldn't manage this out and about. Close proximity to a restroom was must, and that was really limiting and disheartening. It felt like any time I had my period, I'd have to cancel all plans and stay home to avoid embarrassment or pain.I then found the Lily cup (type 1/small). It was soft/flexible and created a great seal. Even when it was full, I've only ever had it leak once. However, it would frequently bump my medium-ish cervix which hurt like a mofo and made me nauseous. I'd try to go back to using my Lena or Saalt cup, but those couldn't create a good seal on my heavy days and would leak instantly (like within 2-5 minutes of putting it in).Slowly, I realized my pelvic floor muscles were the ones breaking the seal on the firmer cups (Saalt and Lena) because as I moved around and my muscles pushed on the sides of the cup, it would move the rim of the cup. This didn't happen with the soft-sided Lily cup. Okay, so I figured out I needed a softer cup (a 1 or 2 on the putacupinit.com scale) but also one that was large enough to hold my crazy bloodshed.Enter Super Jennie (large). Literally all my problems are solved. I can be bleeding out and no one will ever know. It holds 41 ml, which will get me through 2 hours, 3 if I'm really lucky. It is very soft-sided, so the sides can be compressed as I move but the rim and therefore the seal isn't affected. I don't feel it inside like I do my other cups. I've actually forgotten I'm on my period while wearing it, which is such a wonderful feeling. I don't have to watch how I sit or curl up on the couch, I don't have to watch how hard I sit down, or avoid hard surfaces. I can just exist and live life like a normal human being. The suction is...insane. The first time I tried to take it out I seriously considered asking The Fiance to help because the seal was SOLID. I was one with the cup and the cup was one with me. However, I remembered another reviewer mentioning she first pushed the cup down to where she could reach it, then sat down to pull it out. That pretty much instantly solved my problem and the second time I went to take it out, it was super fast.Others have mentioned that they have trouble getting the cup to pop open. Same here, but I usually just shove it in and then go about my life. I can feel it pop open (doesn't hurt, just feels weird) within a few seconds to minute or two, but it DOES always open.Another thing to note: I usually use the punch-down method to insert cups, but with this one, I need to use the C-fold. No big for me, but thought others might find that info useful. I suspect the smaller Super Jennie cup could use the punch down method still.I cannot thank the Super Jennie creators enough. I have my life back. (Dramatic, but also accurate). Thank you Super Jennie!
