Aptly named...grows grass fast

It actually does grow fast!
I put this down on September 29th after closing up my pool for the summer. It started to sprout within a week as seen in the second picture. The last pics are from today, October 28th! Now I need to do the rest of my yard! There are still some bare spots but I blame that on myself as it’s the first time I ever tried to grow grass. I’ve been watering it once a day in the evening so I’m hoping it will fill in.

We just put the grass seed out, after following the instructions, we did not get 3500 SQ ft out of the bag , which is a it disappointing, will change review if grass grows quick and nice.

Full of weeds - specifically nutsedge
I rarely ever write reviews & I generally really think Johnathan Green has fantastic stuff, but this is junk. I put the seed down to fill in some bare spots and within a few days “grass” started to grow very quickly and aggressively. I thought “man, this rye grass looks awful” compared to my KBG & Fescue. But, it was nutsedge. Now I have tons of it in my lawn. I’m honestly in awe of how bad this product is. I unwittingly contaminated a beautiful lawn with ugly nutsedge. Just incredible. Do not buy this. The Tri-Rye was great, this product is awful.
