This is a great little pillow. Our daughter sent this to me prior to going into the hospital, and I loved it. The heat relaxes you and it lasts for quite a while. I've just about worn mine out from using it so much. I turned around and purchased one for our daughter, and she loves it too. She has sciatic pain at times and it has helped with that. Now she also is a fan of that sweet little pillow. Thank you!

If you have back problems and have been told to sleep on the side with your knees perfectly aligned one on top of the other in order to keep your hips level, you'll comply and find you get you get used to it, however, after a few months, your knee bones start grinding against each other and you won't be able to sleep, so put a pillow in between your knees, they will tell you, what they don't tell you is that pillows are big and if too wide, your legs will be unnaturally separated and then you'll get sciatica pain for sure and if you have sensitive legs due to varicose veins or something alike, you'll be uncomfortable, and because it's a pillow, when you turn around in bed, the mere bulk of it will not only stop your motion half way, waking you up, but it will also really disturb the covers, which will really disturb your sleeping partner, who will complain, you will answer and now you are both awake, and in the morning, you get sciatica pain *and* you are tired, to make it all worse even! the pillow is too big to have under the covers with you in wait for when you need it, but if you leave it outside and it's cold, well, when you retrieve it, it's like getting a huge ice cube between your legs.Enter this little thing, little it is and of a vaguely triangular shape, you put it between your knees, aligned whichever way you like best and it's so unobtrusive that neither you nor your partner will notice, you will notice, however that there is no more knee pain and that it's flat enough not to give you sciatica pain, nor will it squish your varicose veins, and because it's small, you can have it inside the covers, lying nice and warm in wait.An unrelated perk I noticed, if you don't read heavy books in bed because the spine of the book digs into your sternum or your stomach, just put this little pillow there and problem solved.Now, I thought that it would come with a zipper, because I know by experience that buckwheat will deflate over (a long) time and so, if there's a zipper, you can simply change the hulls for new ones, but it doesn't, hence the four starts, which should really be 4 & 1/2 starts, but other than that, for bony knee grinders like me? this pillow is great.And it's a heart, how cute is that.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who had surgery. She never put the pillow down. I was the best thing for her healing process. She used it warm and found great comfort with it.

And so did her dog! Keep it up and away! It’s like dog catnip.

After 2 minutes in the microwave it is nice and warm but it gets a little damp. The first time I thought there might have been some spilled water in the microwave but that was not the case.

I love my heart! you can use it hot or cold its soft and great for aches and pain. The only thing I'd do differently is I'd add velcro to the white part that you microwave or freezer. I'd definitely buy this again.

I have interstitial cystitis, & sometimes heat is the only thing that will soothe my burning pain. A hot bath is usually my go-to, but you can't take a hot bath at work (& if you can, is y'all hirin'??), so Bucky products have been nothing short of a lifesaver. I got my first Bucky product my freshman year of college ('02!) & I've been a believer ever since. I managed to hang onto that Bucky for almost 17 years & only had to sew it up twice despite dragging that thing all over the world with me. They're quality products & I personally would be lost without them! Switching from my original "Hottie" to the "Heartwarmer" was tough & I was so worried that the quality just wouldn't be the same, but I was so wrong! They're portable, long-lasting, easy to pack, easy to clean, convenient, & so very soothing. I can't recommend them enough for hot or cold treatment!
