Acceleration sputter with no engine light
I own a 2005 mazda 6 and i had a acceleration problem no check engine light. I could have the car and press the accelerator pedal all the way down and the car would began to accelerate but would sputter but still no engine light...cleaned throttle body, cleaned the mass airflow sensor with mas air flow cleaner it was dirty bit still same thing sputter no engine light. Bought plugs and wires still no relief.. took my car to a mechanic said it was the O2 sensors or catalyic converter cloged.. but i know the o2 sensors would throw an engine light code. took o2 sensors out to see maby the car would not sputter if there was a hole letting pressure out but nothing. GOT FED UP with the car let it sit for a month. SO I THOUGHT TO MYSELF what if the ignition was weak would cause the spark not to be strong and therefore burn the fuel it has too. So i took a chance its only 20 bucks no biggie so as it came slaped it on with ease and crossed my fingers and started her up hit the gas pedal at to my amazment NO FREAKEN SPUTTER the ignition coil was the problom so accelerating probloms with no engine litlght dont know how long it will last but im leaving it till it goes out

Works great, great value
Works perfect for 2.0 Zetec engine in 2001 Ford Focus. (255k miles)FYI: Problem I had was that car was harder to start, the colder the weather was. When it got to 20's, it would not even start at all. Also, from time to time when trying to accelerate, car would hesitate, almost like air intake was blocked.I changed plugs and cables at some point, cause it was just time for them.I had people on the forums telling me it's probably fuel pump, or fuel pressure sensor.Fuel pressure was within specs, so I decided to replace ignition coil.It fixed it!! It starts every time, within first half second the engine is cranked!! Even when it waas 16 degrees out! Previously: It would not start when it was so cold.Bottom line: it is perfect replacement, that works great! It's also great value

Generic but works!
This is generic version of the original Motorcraft Ignition coil that I should have installed on my aging 21 year old ford focus but I must agree with most other reviewers that while this is "no-brand" name it does seem to work just fine. Longevity is currently unknown, the original Motorcraft lasted for 21 years. I am cautiously rating this with five stars!PS: I did not have any issues or check engine light when I installed on my 2001 ford focus. Seems to be made just as good as the original. Time will tell if the Ignition coil will last before the car goes kaput!

Easy Replacement!!!
This coil is an exact fit at 1/4 the price of ones at the box stores!I also, liked the fact this was the cure to spark plug #3 misfire! Yes, a Single-Pole of a coil CAN go BAD! I replaced the wires and plugs and still no spark on #3 Order & it arrived two days earlier than first quoted. A simple Torx #27 to unscrew, remove wires, and connector.Install in reverse order, runs better than it has in years! Thank You!

Great product for the money!
Great product so far! My 2001 Ford Focus had a misfire on cylinder 4 and every time the car would misfire, the speedometer would jump around every time it misfired. I found on a forum where this issue can be tied to internal failure of the ignition coil. Purchased this one for 1/4 of the price of what one would cost from the auto parts store. It's been installed with no issues for roughly a month now. Easy install, very happy with the product.
