I love these tailgate inserts, they really make my truck stand out. These inserts are easy to install and durable.

No issues with delivery or packaging, install took less than 5 minutes. Great adhesion, perfect size, and sturdy material. Highly recommend cleaning the area with alcohol on a microfiber cloth and drying before putting them on. Gives a nice contrast against the lunar rock! Exact look I was going for. Had them on for a few weeks and no issues.

I wasn't expecting much from these and when they arrived that didn't improve. But after removing them from the packing flat and applying, WOW! They look really, really good. First, i wiped clean the tailgate and then cleaned the area they were go in with alcohol. Got it nice and clean. Then I let the letters warm up in the sun, adhesive side up, so they got nice and sticky. Then, one by one, I aligned the letters to the inset areas on the tailgate and pressed firm. I held them in place with significant force for over 30 seconds to ensure a good bond between adhesive and the tailgate. And it worked great!They look beautiful and like OEM. They've been through the carwash and sticking great.What I like best about these letters: First, they really make the tailgate pop and look more expensive. Second, they have a slightly squared off edge instead of rounded - looks more military style/rugged. Thirdly, the black is a very nice satin look so it doesn't shine and look fake. Lastly, the depth of the letters is just right, a bit less than a quarter inch, so they don't look flat and contrast nicely with how Toyota inset the metal in the letters that are stamped into the tailgate already. Highly recommend, definintely worth the price. Just clean it real good first, take your time and make sure you're leaving equal spaces all around the letters between the inset lettes before you press on.

With so many options this seems to be the best of all, they are not metal but they do not feel cheap at all, letters fit perfect and adhesive has been great (installed 1 month ago) they look so good once installed and its raised just enough for it to look premium but not too raised. Ive heard metal ones fade color so this seems to be the way to go. Highly recommend, the difference is really amazing for a product so simple.

Really makes the tailgate TACOMA stand out! Bought the black to put on my MGM Tacoma and man it looks amazing. Time will tell if the adhesion will last, but so far it seems like its on there pretty good.

This is my second time ordering these for my husbands Taco, he just bought a new one. First pair was on for ~3 years, never faded, never had to re-adhere, looks great. The package I recently received was great until we had to take the plastic cover off, which seemed to adhere to the letters causing a bit of a headache to try and get the residue off of the letters. My reason for 4 stars, had this not been an issue 5 stars would’ve easily been given. But even with the added elbow grease, these are still 100% worth it and you can’t beat the price.

Easy to install, I used a heat gun since I installed in the winter. Good packaging, looks great on the truck.
