A must for any ophthalmologist
As a practicing retina specialist, it is nice to have a reference to the lost art of retinal cartography. The drawings were done by some of the famous names in our subspecialty, archived and preserved for us to see how we documented retinal pathology before the advent of wide field fundus photography. I remember drawing such charts during my fellowship, and it is one of the things I still do despite having the facilities for fundus photography

Lovely review of a lost art--a special time in ophthalmic education.
Nostalgic remembrances of a time in training and a required discipline no longer utilized. Was not excited about it at the time but over 50 years later, brings fond memories.Bruce
