My 7 month old Frenchy loved it, the 1st one came apart after two days, the seller replaced it with same, it fell apart too. I wasn’t going to ask them to replace it again.

This is the perfect tug toy for my dog. I can easily grab the rope and hang on while he pulls. He loves the monkey, and looks forward to playing with it. This is a very sturdy toy, and made the best of any tug toy I have bought.

This is my dog’s’ favorite toy. They play with constantly. I have a 80 GSD & a 5 month 56 pound LGD puppy.We named the toy Vincent because the first thing they did was chew one of the ears off. The rope part of the toy is very durable, but the monkey part is easily ripped up. I have sutured Vincent’s side wounds many times (mostly after I find stuffing on the floor). This is another “must supervise” toy.

I love the Zippypaws dog toys-especially the ones that have the handle on each end so that I can play tug-of-war! I've purchased SEVERAL Zippypaws monkeys. I have an English Bulldog. It's like he's matured into these toys. At first he enjoyed destroying them as a form of play but as I bought more, he started using them, almost like a relaxer. He will sit for hours sucking on the nose. Also, the ropes at both ends are sturdy. I've bought several of the Zippypaws monkeys, sloth, frog, and, I think, a raccoon. The sloth has been the best so far because it doesn't have ears. For play, my bulldog starts with eating the animal's ears and swallows them. The frog has also lasted a long time. This monkey was a success. Sure, the dogs had the stuffing and squeaky device that was its heart ripped out in a weekend but the bungee-like cords were thick enough to make it weighty enough for throwing and for tug-o-war which has lasted at least a few weeks of real playing by now. Any of these monkey variations we've tried all had the stuffing and squeaky devices ripped out in days...but that doesn't mean the dogs still didn't play with them longer. The bungee cords were a little big for our smaller dog but perfect for a medium-sized dog.

The media could not be loaded.  I threw this to my dog, turned my back, AND HEARD LOUD POUNDING. I looked back to see my 13yr old pittie most excited than she’s been in years. I wish I could give it a million stars!!- The picture is definitely more blue (a more detectable shade for their vision) than the monkey we received…. But it’s very apparent she can still see it by her excitement level.- Be aware the internal components of this toy are heavy ( combo of stuffing and heavy rope) so when it hits the ground, it’s very loud… My dog loves it!!!

We loved this toy… for about three hours, when I found tufts of stuffing everywhere. Not the toy’s fault. I’ve yet to find something she can’t rip to shreds.

Our girl loved this but after tugging from below the face of the money for a few seconds she ripped it and the filling started coming out. I tried to keep the tugging to the ropes only, but that did not go according to plan. Fortunately, I bought it from Amazon and returned it. The description says durable, and it is not.

Mon chien adore ce jouet. Le premier que j’ai acheté a duré 1 an avant qu’il ne se déchire, mais celui-ci n’a pas duré 3 semaines. J’avais choisi l’animal sans oreilles ou autres détails faciles à déchirer mais il est quand même à réparer… dommage pour le prix.

I liked this toy because it would be good for tug of war with the dog. However, my 6 month old schnauzer chewed through the rope in minutes. had to cut off all exposed rope. I don't totally believe it is not a good toy because my pup has destroyed a lot of toys.

My puppy loves to play tug with this. it is well-made and looks like will last a long time
