I will quickly explain how this works and then only your Imagination will limit what you can do with it.What you have is a connector block with live and neutral going in and the same going out to your chosen target. (i would have liked a third terminal built in for Earth, but its easily done alongside the unit)You now have a Key Fob (two supplied) which by remote control switches the connector on/off, They say the best ideas are simple ones and this is Genius, I love it, I'm going to wire a Light in my Loft and switch it on by Remote Control , how cool is that, or Garden Lights in front of my friends !! An easy 5 Stars from me.

I was a bit disappointed. There were no instructions with the unit, and after trying all types of programming, we could only get one controller working. There were no batteries either.

This box essentially enables you to control a switch via a remote control ... or two remote controls in this case.It's easy to wire in, being as there are only two wires, live and neutral. You might wish to wire in a third earth connection but always keep in mind this control unit itself wouldn't be earthed itself.I took a look at the other reviews on here and it's clear someone doesn't know how to use this thing. They complained that it doesn't stay on after you release the button on the remote, but that's because they have the unit set to momentary mode; the power only flows whilst you have your finger pressing on the remote. In reality there are a few modes. Momentary, toggle mode for on/off, and latched mode for permanent on/off. They're all explained in the manual.Speaking of them manual it states this is for a 12v DC current, it is not, it's for 240v AC.There's a reasonable range to it too. Easily coped with a 40m range for my garage door. That only needed a momentary signal to initiate the door motor, so this worked fine for that purpose. I'd suggest you watch the video on the product page to get a good idea of how to operate this, it basically tells you all you need to know.Not a bad device. Can be used for all sorts of applications from something as simple as a light, to something like an actuated electric gate.

The media could not be loaded.  I love these 433mhz radio remote control switches. Having had many over the years, I keep finding uses for them in the home and garden. This QIACHIP remote control switch is perfect for a simple on/ off controller. It has a great range of nearly 1000ft, 2 remotes and various options for switching.This remote switch is simple and robust. IT has a hefty relay inside the receiver that can switch up to 3kw noninductive loads. (ie not motors) This is the first remote I've seen with a large noninductive load capacity and Very useful for turning heaters on and off.The switch is a simple double pole contact that makes and breaks the contact according to the signal received from the remote. Unfortunately, there are no opposite state contacts available for the relay, so you only get a make and break; for example, to turn a light on and off.Wiring the receiver up is dead easy, 2 wires in, permanent L & N and 2 switched wires out L & N. The remotes can be programmed easily to give options for latching on (the A button) and latching off (B button) Alternatively, you can use the momentary program (Keep Pushing button A to stay on, then release it to turn off) . Both remotes work so one can latch on and the other can latch off from a different location.Other good features are that the receivers are naturally in the off state when powered up. Also when the power is interrupted and reinstated again (power cuts) they remain in the OFF state. So many I've seen turn on when power is reinstated after an outage, which is unacceptable. The stated range is an impressive 984ft with the help of the transmitter remotes having a pull-up ariel and the receiver that can also have the inductance coil extended.One issue that seems to be creeping in now is that the transmitters are not supplied with batteries. It's to do with air freight restrictions The description does state this, so make sure you get a couple of 23A 12v batteries. They are cheap enough for a pack of 5 and available from Amazon.
