Soft Bird Collar for Umbrella Cockatoo & Yellow-Crested Cockatoo Parrots

Great birdy collar! She can’t get it off & her chest is healing. Very happy with this collar. It has worked better than the one that cost more, as there’s no Velcro or “thin” areas for her to chew through. When I first got it, I was a little unsure about pushing it over her heard BUT she did great & she’s finding other more pleasant things to chew on…she turning back into a beautiful Moluccan Cockatoo!!

Should have known this was not going to work. Our bird picks it’s feathers so of course it’s going to pick at this soft material wrapped around its body. The only thing that has changed is I’m out $30. Don’t waist your money. Requested a refund and I received a return label that I have to pay postage for. This is not an Amazon return process. Very lame.

Vet put the collar on for us and the first thing I noticed was it was way to big for our umbrella cockatoo. The collar sat lower than needed to prevent picking her chest and the length was so long she was tripping over it. Went to take it off and since there is no velcro we ended up having to cut it off our distressed bird. Looking for a different collar with velcro and better sizing.

This was a little big of our U2 but easily cut down so she can walk. Fast emails.

So it was supposed to help with plucking and she destroyed it in like 5 min.
