MagMod Standard Gel Set - With Labels

Well, my first shipment, it was an open package with only five of the gels and obviously they were years they were all scratched up. Box was not sealed, but I got the replacement shipment next day and that appears to be fine. I will leave an update after I start using the gels but they do seem like good quality. They're still over priced.

Loved that came with double of each

These gels are a must-have for every photographer. Made well, colors are perfect, and they fit perfectly in the original mag grip (another must). There is a new version of these and I'm planning to buy those, too! :)

I've tried at least a half-dozen methods of gelling my speedlights, and the MagMod system is by far the best I've ever used.The gels are extremely tough, and you can put them on and take them off in seconds. I leave the gels in my back pocket and pop them in and out of the holder as necessary.However, I find that the standard gel set doesn't have the best selection of gels. 2 of the 8 gels don't seem practical -- the 3-stop ND gel, and the 1/2 blue. A red gel and a full blue would have made mores sense.

I am new to gels and wanted something easy and well made. Magmod made that product! I have used these at every shoot and so glad to have this product

This is pretty much an essential set of gels for anyone in the MagMod system. Even if you have no interest in getting super creative with some of the other sets, I would recommend that everyone at least get this basic set that will allow you to deal with most color balancing issues you'll come across while using your speedlight.

Very expensive for what they are but do the job well

These gels are perfect but they're so expensive it's ridiculous. That's why I've marked them done a star. If there was a cheaper alternative, I would not have bought these.

Fantastic product. One must use Magmod gel if you need to correctly change the white balance lighting temperature.
