Westcott 13594 Left-Handed Scissors, Hard Handle Kids' Scissors, Ages 4-8, 5-Inch Blunt Tip, Color Varies

I received regular scissors, not for left handed. Left handed scissors need to have the blades inverted, the ones I received do not. Also in the pictures you can see the package says “for kids lefty”. The ones I received do not say this, it only says “for kids”. I bought these scissors specifically because I needed left handed scissors, regular scissors are not of any use for me. I bought 2 and both are the same. The way I see it this is false advertising, because these are not left handed scissors, as simple as that, and I am attaching pictures as evidence. For me this is the same as buying pants and receiving shorts, a complete different thing and not what I think I’m buying. I bought 2, and both are regular scissors. Returning and looking somewhere else. I can’t trust buying these again and risk receiving something that I am not buying.

This product does not work well for left handed kids. I ordered scissors “specifically for left handed” as depicted in the picture and description but the seller sent these saying they are also for left handed. Not true. The left handed kids struggle with these. Wish the seller would refund full price since it’s not what I ordered and it is not an acceptable substitute, but they won’t.

My daughter is almost six and has been using kids scissors for 2-3 years. I never thought these that are aimed at kids 4 and up would cause a problem. She had these less than five minutes and cut a huge chunk off the tip of her finger and was using them as expected. I’m not sure if something was off about the way these handled, as they did seem rather “sticky” when using them - but I would not recommend these. She ended up having to go to Urgent Care and getting her finger glued because there wasn’t enough there to do stitches.

My almost-3 year old granddaughter is a leftie - the only one in her household - and since she's getting old enough to develop the small motor skills needed to wield scissors, I send her these scissors. Apparently, she has gotten pretty good at using them, since it was reported in a recent Zoom call that she decided to cut her own hair - she now has bangs !

We ordered 2 pink pairs for my granddaughters that are both lefties.Not only did we not get the right color that we ordered. There's nowhere to get customer service. It's a good thing they were cheap they're not worth the time to return them (I have a feeling that's what they're banking on) I hope they work better than the other product reviews say they do. These products are made in China not the USA.

Our child struggled with scissors that claimed to work for both left and right handed people, we got these and now she’s a cutting machine (in a good way).

Bought these for my daughter to see if they would help her learning to cut with scissors - she is 4 years old, definitely a lefty, and learning to use scissors in preschool. These came in green which isn't a big deal but to a 4 year old, it can be. They are also very cheap/flimsy and do not cut very well which isn't super helpful for a beginner. These were cheap scissors so my expectations weren't very high but I at least hoped they would be the right color and cut paper...

My daughter loves doing crafts with scissors and she is a lefty, so I decided to get this left hand scissors. They are really hard to use, as they are tough to open and close. I will apply oil to them to make them easier to use, but they have no great quality. They are left handed scissors, so that part is good.

The photo is misleading! I thought I was buying four pairs of scissors but it was only one pair!! Waste of money! Too much for one pair of scissors
