The ZEDCO Wireless Digital Thermometer monitors internal temperature of meat from 90 feet away. The wireless receiver with LCD beeps and flashes when meat temperature goes above your programmed temperature. No longer standing by the BBQ or Oven while monitoring barbecue temperature. The receiver beeps and flashes if temperature falls above or below your programmed range. The thermometer has a timer while the LCD of receiver has a back light for use at night or low lighting conditions. The receiver features a convenient belt clip and built in stand. The food probe wire can be inserted 6 inches into meat both probe wires are heat resistant to 482 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't put the probe wire into the water for washing, or submerse the probe into water, please hand wash the stainless steel probe, and always wipe the probe before plugging into the transmitter. Moisture inside the probe's plug or the thermometer might cause an incorrect temperature reading. This unit can be used in your oven, grill or smoker. Do not use the probe in a microwave oven.

Great Wireless Probe Thermometer w/ Extra-Thin Cord!
Love this so far! For a very affordable wireless probe thermometer, this is really fantastic! Quite accurate (tested along side my expensive instant-read calibratable probe) and can be used at a very all over my house- even through walls.Special note: I use a NuWave countertop convection oven, and the cord for the probe is thin enough to use through the dome! Extra helpful!

Failed first time.
Both probes failed on first use, I just watched the temperature readout start at 60 degrees inserted in the steak I was grilling and quickly rise to HHH for both probes in the space of about 30 seconds. I tested the probes in the kitchen at room temperature afterwards and both were instantly HHH. Fortunately, I was able to return it for refund. I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Inconsistent results over the last few months have resulted in many times of taking the meat off the grill to do a check and then taking it back out. We had an Oregon Scientific model prior to this that was amazing. Sorry Zedco. You just don't match up.

great cooking tool
I really like this bad BBQ boy. I can be in the house by the fire while the roast inches toward my target temp..and I can see with out putting my slippers back on.

Works Great!
I tested the thermometer on baked chicken breasts. I compaired the temps with my instant read digital thermometer.It is very easy to use.

Ours failed on the second use as many if the other purchasers. No wonder the price keeps dropping. Don't waste your money here.
