Put this on your stove and you transform your kitchen into a restaurant. A fabulous piece of cookware so well made it defies belief. Much heavier than expected including the lid and basket. Do not compare this to lesser products. It’s the steamer basket that really makes it shine. It goes down about one inch from the bottom so you can steam but fill up to cook pasta. The basket projects about two inches above the top of the pot to increase steamer volume but also prevents spitting out during boiling keeping your stove top clean. The steamer holes are sized so that standard spaghetti will not pass through. There is is no boil out when lifting the basket due to the wall clearance and hole pattern. Although the handles are metal, they don’t get hot on an electric stove due to their size and shape. The family will be fighting over this when you go to the nursing home. A testament to the evolution of perfection. You will not be disappointed.

Can not fault Fissler especially the Pro range, you get what you pay for, have been using Fissler for about 15 years and have never had a problem. They are expensive but as I stated above you only get what you pay for.

I am looking to replace all my so-so cookware with non-coated, non-toxic options that will last. I expect to never need another one of these.Very high quality and attractive construction that looks indestructible with normal kitchen usage. I expect this will look just as good in 10, 20, 30 years and beyond.The pot heats evenly and retains heat for a very long time. After draining pasta, I've let the water sit for several hours before cleaning, and it was still warm to the touch.The handles on the sides and lid do not get hot, and it works perfectly for things like spaghetti. I've never lost a single noodle when pulling out the insert for draining.Very easy to clean.Perfect size for a 16oz packet of pasta and spaghetti cook evenly.There are tick marks inside, so you now how many liters of liquid are there.Ticks all the boxes for me. Rather than buying low- or mid-range cookware that wears out and needs to be replaced every few years, I'd rather spend (a lot) more, and be done.Also, I am becoming more and more eco-conscious with things that don't last and just end up in the landfill eventually. The cheap stuff is part of the problem. If you can afford it, get this.

Before buying this item, I've considered for a long time for the high price.But in my country. the price is more high.Now I'm satisfied. It is beautufyul, solid and practical.

Perhaps and looks exactly as described. Used for cooking pasta for two. Easy to use, cleanup a snap. Would recommend highly.
