Hunter Women's Original Tall Rain Boots

I live in Seattle, have a dog and wear these boots every day in the rain and mud -- while also walking on a lot of concrete. (I bought inserts so ease the PSI on the pavement.) I especially like the height of the boot which is 17" -- taller than almost all other rain boots. They also have a slightly higher heel than most rain boots - not much but a little. I like that feature. The downside is I wear a 10.5. While I decided on a 10 (I tried on both an 11 and a 10) the 10 is a might bit snug so I can only wear only the thinnest of socks -- so kind of wish I had bought an 11. If I had one wish, I wish Hunter would make half-sizes. I have only purchased "knock-offs" before and they normally last only two winters before a crack sets in. I will be interested to see if Hunter Boots hold up longer. They look a lot better than knock-offs -- but they also cost 3 to 4 times as much!

True to Size. Be aware that they are not suitable for colder temperatures but are waterproof. Very cute and durable.

These boots are great for working in the chicken coops in the yard muddy situations or dirty situations. All you have to do is hose them down and that’s it.

EXTREMELY sturdy, with thick material throughout and what look to be bonded seams to keep leaks out. I would trust these boots to keep my feet dry no matter how long I wore them or what I was walking in, and I have the impression they would last for years and years. The sole has a good tread that helped keep my balance. I don't need them more than once or twice a year to clean out my backyard pond, but I finally popped for these expensive boots to give me some confidence while mucking about, and these were a lot more reassuring than the "waterproof" hiking boots I had been using. I had tried waders as well, but those were a bear to get on and the boot portion was sized for men and uncomfortable and wide for a women's foot. While the Hunter's tread wasn't exactly non-slip on the slimy rocks of my pond, it was superior to what I had been using, and the smooth outside made rinsing ALL the mud off with a hose a very easy job. The inside had a textured almost fabric-like surface that didn't stick to my skin. I wear orthotics and was a bit concerned that the sizing wouldn't allow their use, but the room inside was generous and accommodated my orthotics as well as a pair of relatively heavy socks. These boots are easy to get into, as they don't collapse when you put your foot in - my foot slipped in place easily and I didn't even need to pull up at the sides to adjust. On the downside, while these boots are sturdy they are also heavy. I bought the knee-high version and thought I might wear them while walking in the rain, but the weight and the overall clunky feel made me decide against that. While they do bend for walking, they still feel stiff and for some reason I found myself walking on my heel first rather than putting my foot down flat; I'm not sure why this was happening but it did make me feel I was rolling more than treading. I imagine they would be hot as well on a summer day, but I would feel that to be an acceptable trade-off to guarantee water stays out. While my use of these boots may be more restricted than I was anticipating, I'm still happy with them. I feel nothing else would be as protective.

I got these from Amazon resale for 65$. I put a memory foam insole in to make up the extra room. The calf is tight, maybe 16”. I need them for floods and mud.

the shoes are so cute, and comfortable! it fits just right! they are sturdy but also super flexible. they don’t have kind of smell. i’m a a size US 8.5 W, and i heard that hunter boots run big, so i was anxious. i ordered an 8, and they are perfect.

I bought these expensive boots as I wanted something sturdy and good quality since I have horses and wear them every day. They developed a crack on the top of the foot after less than 6 months, thus becoming useless. I contacted Hunter hoping they would stand behind their boot and offer a warranty, but they told me they can't help me because I bought them from Amazon. They told me to contact Amazon. Amazon has an excellent return policy but it's for 30 days. They're not required or expected to stand behind the products they sell for more than that. Hunter claims that their boots are high quality but clearly they are not and their customer service is not either. I had a pair years ago which lasted for years but it seems quality has fallen off since then.

Nach langem Hin und Her und nach unzähligen "billigen" Gummistiefeln, habe ich mich durchgerungen mir diese Schätze zu gönnen! Fazit: die besten Gummistiefel ever! Sie sind super bequem, haben eine tolle Passform, sind nicht so "plump" wie andere, fühlen sich sehr leicht an am Fuß und vor allem sie sind super dicht. Habe mir noch Fleece-Inlays gekauft, die halten schön warm und man bekommt auch keine Schweißfüße! Da ich regelmäßig auf Festivals bin, vor allem das Wacken Open Air, werden Gummistiefel bei mir an ihre Grenzen gebracht, aber diese hier halten zu 100% was sie versprechen. Hunter Stiefel sind jeden Cent wert! Hatte sie eine woche am Stück täglich an, bei regen Matsch und bin damit durch knöcheltiefe Pfützen gewatet - alles kein Problem! Kann sie absolut weiter empfehlen und würde sie jederzeit wieder kaufen! Empfehlenswert dazu: das spezielle Hunter Reinigungsset! Damit bleiben sie lange schön und das Material geschmeidig!

J’ai commandé une taille 40 j’ai reçu un 38, une des deux bottes a pleins de traces blanche on dirait un produit de seconde main! Je ne recommande pas du tout !
