Before ordering the product, I followed the guidelines and measured as my thighs and ordered a medium one. I felt it was too tight and ended up exchanging that one for large, which fit me well.Performance wise, I like that it is lightweight and doesn't cause the knee area to get warm. It can resist sweat fairly well too. All this while providing support to the knee. Overall, I'm very pleased with it and ordered a 2nd pair soon after so that I can use it while I put one for wash.

These knee shelves are high quality and provide the support that is needed. I highly recommend them to anyone who has been told to use this type of product

Update: The company stands behind their products. They are very responsive when I emailed them about the sizing issue. They offered to ship the next size up (large) at no cost to me. The customer service is top notch, therefore I bumped my rating from 3 to 4 stars. I have to say, though, large still fits me a bit tight on the calf and I will have to find a way to cinch the top band. Nevertheless, I appreciate their outreach and great service. I just hope they will expand the lower band and shrink the top band a little.Original review: I followed the sizing chart to order the medium size. The top part is a bit too loose. More importantly, the bottom band is uncomfortably tight. The description says "Copper Joe knee sleeve applies even pressure across your knee joint." I don't feel that perhaps because of fitting issues. Granted my calves are muscular, but I have several other knee braces from other brands that fit just fine.Another thing - I wish knee brace manufacturers would consider making their products pure black, skin-tone, or other solid colors without their logos screaming for attention. I want them to blend into my outfit, which is mostly black.

I have bought this product in small, medium and large. There does not seem to be any difference in the fit. This product is too tight. I have to cut it to wear. I wear a size 4 dress and I am regarded as thin.

I have had both knees replaced and sometimes when I think I am invincible, they will swell. These give enough compression to help with the swelling, but are not bulky under my clothes. I would highly recommend these. Thanks for a great product.

Bought this to use for knee support and it was a LOT smaller than expected. It would not fit over leg to get to knees, looked ar package and it did say Knee Support but then tried it on arms and it seemed to fit arms better but still too tight. The small is really small, like it’s meant for pencil thin person, and not an average US sized person.

As the half finger gloves from this company have been effective, and thus far, held up well, I decided to try these. I deal with what is, at this point, relatively minor knee discomfort from time-to-time. And these sleeves provide solid support when playing the drums (a double bass set-up). What's nice is that they aren't bulky; no silicone donut opening or velcro straps. (Obviously, I don't know how effective they are if one is dealing with more severe knee issues. In those cases, more heavy-duty bulkier support might be necessary.) As I've only used them a handful of times thus far (only employing them for practicing when one or both knees are feeling a bit vulnerable), I'll update this review if there are any issues with lessening compression over time.Update 5/15/21. The seam on one sleeve "popped"/came slightly undone, though the compression appears unaffected. Contacted the seller, and they immediately sent out a replacement set. Bottom line, if you have any issue with their products, reach out to Copper Joe before leaving negative comments. Based on my experience, they'll make it right. 5 stars doubly well-earned.

Bought this for my daughter who gets knee pain from walking on treadmill and doing the stairs at the gym. She complained that the top of the brace cut off her circulation even though we measured it the way the description said to. The thin material was what she was looking for (to wear under pants and not be bulky) but there was very little compression at the knee so we ended up returning this. 2 stars for quick delivery and thinness of the material.
